    SELARAH KNORR
    Mrs. Selarah Knorr, Northfield, N. J., widow of the late Wilson Knorr, Wiconisco, died at her home on Monday, March 25th, death having been caused by paralysis.
    Mrs. Knorr moved to Atlantic City seventeen years ago. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Deppen, and was born in Lykens Vallev. Her husband, Mr. Wilson Knorr, preceeded her in death 26 years ago.
    Four sons, Guerney, Lykens; Boyd and Allen, Northfield, N. J; Hermit, Baltimore, Md; three dauhgters, Stella, Mrs. Yates, of Atlantic City, N. J; Rosie, Mrs. Clarence Hoffman, Lvkens; and Mable, Mrs. Harry Witmer, Lykens; one brother, Daniel Deppen of Ashland, all survive. Twenty-seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. She was a mmeber [member] of the Lutheran Church. Funeral services were held yesterdav afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Reiff & Helt funeral parlor, Main street, with Rev. Phares O. Reitz, Lutheran pastor, officiating. Burial was made in the Wiconisco Cemetery.

    Survivors are a son and six daughters, Harry Schwalm, Millersburg; Mrs. Otto, Hegins; Mrs. Clarence Kratzer, Gratz; Mrs. Lowell [Nolan] Miller and Mrs. Klinger, Spring Glen, Mrs. Harry Hepler, Atlantic City, N.     Daniel A. Deppen Dies After Lengthy Illness
    Daniel A. Deppen, aged 76, 1903 Walnut street, Ashland, died Sunday morning, 12:30 o'clock, at the Ashland Hospital following a lengthy illness. He had been hospitalized ' for one week.
    Born in Hebe, Pa., Jan. 6, 1879, he was the son of the late Henry Deppen and Amanda (Lettisch) Deppen. He resided ,in Ashland 38 years.
    Mr. Deppen was a member of the Zion's Lutheran Church, Ashland; the Woodmen of the World; Odd Fellows and Encampment, of Ashland, and the POS of A, of Hebe. He was employed as a carpenter at the collieries for 51 years prior to his retirement.
    His wife, the former Harriet Troutman preceded him in death in April 1942 and to survive are two daughters, Mrs. Oscar Bower, Klingerstown, and Mrs. Frank Rentier, of Ashland; two sons, Elmer Deppen, of Forrest Hills, New York, and Albert Deppen, at home. He is further survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
    The funeral will be held from his late home, Wednesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock. The Rev. John N Weaver, pastor of Zion's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Christ Church Cemetery, Fountain Springs.
    Friends may call at the home Tuesday evening.
    Otto Funeral Service is in charge.

    Charles R. "Bob' Bohner of Lykens, Pa. passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at home. He was born November 20, 1926 at Lykens, Pa. to the late Charles A. and Zula Deppen Bohner. Bob was an Army Veteran of WWII, a member of St. Christopher Lutheran Church, Lykens, Ashlar Lodge 570 F&AM Lykens, Millersburg Tall Cedars, Lykens American Legion, Lykens Minstrel Asso., a former Boy Scout Leader and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Bob was a loving husband and great father and is survived by his wife of 69½ years Nancy J. Kratzer Bohner, sons Robert T. and companion Theryl and Don K. and wife Wendy, a daughter Jean K. Graham and husband Lewis, grandchildren Alison, Carolyn, Rodney, Terry, Nicholas, Jessica and Samantha and a great-grandson Elias. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bob's honor to Hospice of Central Pa., 1320 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, Pa. 17110 or to his church St. Christopher Lutheran Church, 635 North Second St., Lykens, Pa. 17048.
