The Snyder home, built around 1900 for them by Harris Bros., just north of Herndon, PA, along PA Route 147. His daughter Maggie inherited the property and eventually it became the home of Guy Klinger and Helen Lemon, Maggie's daughter and James and Anna's grandaughter. The property was sold after Guy's death in 1961, when Helen moved into a rented house in Herndon.

The ten children of Manassas and Elizabeth (Coleman) Maurer. According to Barbara Collier, Samuel, Abraham, and John Maurer moved the the Pacific northwest and engaged in the lumber industry. It is thought that this photo was taken in 1898, when all of the children assembled in Pennsylvania for their Mother's funeral.
