    SHAMOKIN - Mrs. Hazel C. White, 86, of 101 N. Ash St., died at 8:50 p.m. Sunday in the Sunbury Community Hospital.
    She was a licensed practical r nurse, having worked in the Lutheran Hospital, Brooklyn, N.Y, and later for the Sunbury Community Hospital.
    Born in Tamaqua, July 6, 1896, she was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Stella M. Klinger Worrell.
    Her husband, Harry White, preceded her in death.
    Mrs. White was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Church, Shamokin, and its Friendship Bible Class; and the Order of Eastern Star, Brooklyn, N.Y.
    She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Betty Albanese of Shamokin, Mrs. Dorothy Pagano of Bayonne, N.J. and Mrs. Evelyn Reddi of Clark, N.J; three sons, Robert Rogers of New Berne, N.C. and Michael Rogers and Donald Rogers, both of Bayonne; and numerous grandchildren.
    The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Ernest Korten Funeral Home, Sunbury, by the Rev. John H. Bixler, former pastor of the Trinity Evangelical Church. Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.

    Daughter of Local Couple Expires in Sunbury Hospital
    Mrs. Harriett Worrell Bastian, R. N., 44, wife of M. Luther Bastian, Northumberland, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Worrell, Shamokin, died early this morning in Sunbury Community Hospital from a heart seizure. Mrs. Bastian was stricken yesterday.
    Mrs. Bastian. daughter of H. C. and Stella (Klinger) Worrell, was born June 16, 1903 at Mount Carmel. The family moved to Tamaqua, where the former Miss Worrell was graduated from high school. Following graduation from Ashland State Hospital Training School for Nurses in 1924. the former Miss Worrell became a member of the staff of Sunbury Community Hospital. She continued working there after her marriage and until she first was stricken with a heart ailment in January.
    Mrs. Bastian was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and American Legion Auxiliary, Northumberland, and Northumberland County Association of Trained Nurses. Surviving are her husband, parents and three sisters, Mrs. Warren Drumm, Sunbury; Mrs. H. H. White. Brooklyn, N. Y., and Mrs. Jean Smith, Wilkes-Barre.
    Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon, starting at in the David Funeral Home. Northumberland. Friends may view in the funeral home Sunday afternoon and evening and to the time of services Monday. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Northumberland.

    Registered Nurse Dies in Hospital
    Mrs. Helen Drumm, 49, wife of Warren E. Drumm, 1242 Highland Avenue, Sunbury, a registered nurse and a daughter of a Tharptown couple, died yesterday afternoon at 3:45 in Sunbury Community Hospital. Death was attributed to a complication. She was admitted to the hospital Saturday evening.
    Born Mount Carmel, Mrs. Drumm was a daughter of H. E. and Stella (Klinger) Worrell, Tharptown. She lived in Sunbury for the past 30 years. Mrs. Drumm attended Tamaqua elementary and high school and was graduated from Ashland Hospital School of Nursing. She served as a member of the nursing staff at the former Mary M. Packer Hospital, Sunbury, for 23 years, and nurse in the office of Dr. E. R. Decker, Sunbury, during the past seven years.
    Surviving are the husband, Warren E. Drumm, Sunbury; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Worrell, Tharptown, two sisters, Mrs. H. H. White, Brooklyn, N. Y., and Mrs. Jean Davis, Somerville, N. J. A sister, Mrs. Harriet Bastian, also a nurse, died in 1947.
    Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 in Dornsife Funeral home, Sunbury. Rev. George W. Hallman, pastor of Sunbury United Brethren Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Westside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow evening, from 7:00 until 9:00.
