    Mrs. Emma Eliza Klinger, wife of Charles Klinger, died at their home at Gratz, last Friday following a heart attack. Her age was 55 years, 5 months and 25 days.
    She was a daughter of Adam and Polly Schoffstall, and was born in Jordan Township, Northumberland County and was married to Charles Klinger, January 1, 1898 by the Rev. S. P. Brown. Deceased was a member of Simeon's Reformed church at Gratz.
    Survivors are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Reuben Muth; two brothers, Charles Schoffstall, Valley View and John Schoffstall of Lykens Township.
    Funeral services were held from the residence at ten o'clock Monday morning, with further services in the Gratz Lutheran and Reformed church. Rev. Dr. C. P. Wehr, pastor of the Lykens Valley Reformed charge officiated and interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.

    Mrs. Muth was retired from Dormar Manufacturing and was a member of the Amalgamated Garment Workers and the Lykens and Gratz-Area senior citizens.
    She is survived by a daughter, Mary L. Bechtel of Elizabethville RD; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hoover Funeral Home, Elizabethville, by the Rev. Manley L. Layman. Burial will be in Gratz Union Cemetery.
    Visitors may call at the funeral home Monday after 9 a.m.
    Memorials may be made to the Gratz Area Ambulance Association.

    Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Katie Klinger Muth, a son, Charles E. Muth, Lykens R. D; one daughter, Mrs. Harold Bechtel, Elizabethville R. D; his mother, Mrs. Lula Muth of Gratz, and six grandchildren.

    LYKENS TOWNSHIP — Alda E. Muth, 94, of Lykens Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, in the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
    She was born June 21, 1919, in Gratz, a daughter of the late Margaret (Strayer) and Oscar Phillips. She was married to Charles E. Muth who preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 1985.
    Alda was employed as a machine operator for Dormar Manufacturing, Gratz, and the Dalmatia Blouse Company, Dalmatia.
    She was a member of Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz.
    Alda is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Randy Kratzer, of Hebe; one son, Charles H. Muth, of Lykens; one sister, Delphine Cowan, of Millersburg; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Geraldine Muth; one brother, Herman Phillips; and one sister, Vivian Reed.

    Charles H. Muth of Lykens, PA passed away Monday, July 23, 2018. Charles was born February 1, 1942 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Charles E. and Alda E. Phillips Muth. Charles was a Marine Corps Veteran and retired as a Foreman from Alfa-Laval Corp. He was a 1959 graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School and a member of the Short Mtn Conservation Club. He was also an avid hunter, fisherman and trapshooter. Most of all he enjoyed spending time at his hunting cabin in upstate PA. He is survived by his son Ronald E. Muth and wife Michele; his daughter Kim Boyer and husband Paul; his sister Donna Kratzer and husband Randy and his niece Megan Kratzer. Grandchildren Damien, Devon, Logan, Andrew and Connor; great grandchildren Jayden, Julisa, Gabriella and Addelyn and close friend Barbara Fromme. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine "Jeri" Stewart Muth. Funeral Services will be held Friday July 27, 2018 at 10:00 am for the viewing with service at 11:00 A.M. at the John R. Shultz Funeral Home, 406 Market St., Lykens, Pa. with Rev.     Dalmatia RD Man Dies in Residence
    Milton Sturgen Adams, 68, of Dalmatia R. D., a lifelong resident of Lower Mahanoy Township, died suddenly yesterday morning at 11:45 in his residence. Death was due to a coronary occlusion.
    Born July 27, 1895, in Lower Mahanoy Township, Mr. Adams was a son of the late Emmanduel Katherine Adams. was actively engaged in general farming most of his life.
    Mr. Adams was a lifelong member of the County Line Evangelical United Brethren Church and was affiliated with the Pennsylvania Farmers' Association. His wife, the former Miss Elizabeth Showers, preceded him in death on February 12 of this year.
    Survivors include three daughters, Lillian and Anna, at home, and Mrs. Thelma Englehardt, Salina, Kans; six sons, Neil, at home; Henry, David and Albert, all of Dalmatia R. D; Paul, Danforth, Ill., and John, Towanda, Ill; 18 grandchildren, and the following brothers: Oscar, Millersburg R. D; James, Herndon R. D.: Roy, Dalmatia R. D.: Harry, Dalmatia R. D., and Raymond, Sunbury R. D.
    Hoover Funeral Directors of Dalmatia have charge of arrangements for the funeral.
