    MILLERSBURG- Christy Michelle Rothermel, age 45, of Shippen Dam Road, Pennsylvania died May 7, 2023, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 26, 1977 in Harrisburg, PA the daughter of Clair Rummel, Jr. and Carol (Rothermel) Horchler.
    Christy was an active member of Hebron Church, Millersburg. She helped with bible school and Sunday school lessons.
    She spent countless hours going to, and reading at the town library, studying family lineage and genealogy.
    She had participated in the Relay for Life and was a supporter of any Philadelphia sports teams.
    Christy is survived by her parents, Clair Rummel Jr., and Carol Horchler (companion Gary Zerbe) Maternal Grandmother, Nancy Rothermel; Sister, Jamie Linn Carter (companion Tyler Erdman) Sister, Allison Horchler (companion Fernando Vega); Sister, Tanner Horchler, (companion Frederick Campbell III); Brother, Matthew Horchler, (companion Gabriella Cooper); Nieces, Rosalyn Heller and Cleo Vega; Nephews, Gavin Carter, Keath Heller and Levi Vega; and Great nephew, Dwayne Carter; several aunts uncles and cousins. Christy is preceded in death by Maternal Grandfather Daniel (Nick) Rothermel; Fraternal grandparents, Clair and Verna Rummel.
    Donations in Christy's memory may be made to the Dauphin County Library System.
    The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM and memorial services to follow at 11:00 AM. Services will be held at Hebron United Methodist Church, on Market Street in Millersburg.
