    Ronald E. Adams, 69, of Herndon, passed away on October 21, 2024, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born in on November 16, 1954, a son of the late Marion and Albert Adams. Ronald was employed as a truck driver for Resilite Sports Products.
    Ronald was an avid hunter and outdoors-man and enjoyed spending time on his family farm.
    Ronald is survived by his wife Kim Zimmerman- dams; two sons, Michael (Carol) Adams, James Adams; two step sons, Joshua (Amanda) Nguyen, Jacob Eveland; brother, Ross Adams; grandchildren, Michael Adams, Olivia Adams and Caroline Nguyen; and a niece, Nicole Adams. He was preceded in death by sisters, Ruth Ann Adams-Roscoe, and Rita Jane Adams.
    A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. Memorial service will follow at 11:00am also at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow.2

    Neil R. Adams, 87, of Dalmatia, went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2017, at the Nottingham Village Nursing Center, Northumberland. He was born in Lower Mahanoy Twp on December 19, 1930, a son of the late Elizabeth and Milton Adams. Neil was a farmer and drove truck driver for Mandata Poultry. He served in the Marines during Korean War. He attended Valley Bible Church, Lykens; the Bible Institute of New England; and was in the first graduating class of Mahanoy Joint in 1949.
    Neil is survived by his wife of 49 years Margaret "Peggy" Adams, two sister-in-laws, Lorraine Adams of IL, Nellie Adams of NC; nephews Donald, Dwight and Larry Adams, nieces Sharon Comes and Dianne Richard along with several other nieces, nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by brothers, Henry and wife Lena Adams, John Adams, Albert and wife Marian Adams,Paul Adams, David and wife Doloras Adams, sisters, Lillian Adams, Anna Adams, and Selma and husband Donald Engelhardt.
    A viewing will be held on December 23, 2017, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Grace Community Church, Herndon, with the funeral service to follow at 11:00am. Interment will take place in the County Line Cemetery, Dalmatia.1,2

    In addition to his wife, surviving are three sons, Donald P. and Dwight D., both of Dalmatia and Dale R. of Margate, Fla; one daughter, Dianne E. Richard of Rebuck, Pa; four grandchildren; three brothers, John of Morganton, N.C., Albert and Neil, both of Dalmatia; and three sisters, Lillian and Anna Adams, both of Dalmatia and Selma Englehart of Salina, Kansas.
    Mr. Adams was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Paul.
    The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, Pa., by the Rev. Oren Perdue. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery, RD Dalmatia, Pa.

    Born March 25, 1927, in Dalmatia, Pa., he was a son of the late Milton and Elizabeth (Showers) Adams. He was married to the former Lorraine Walker on June 4, 1949.
    He served in the Army during World War II and was stationed in Panama.
    Mr. Adams worked in the wholesale egg business for 46 years and owned and operated Walker Egg Grading Co., Gilman.
    He enjoyed gardening.
    He was a member of the Palos Hills Christian Assembly Church land Danforth town board.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Steven of St.
    Charles, Rick of Millington, David of Tucson, Ariz., and Bruce of Gilman; eight grandchildren; four brothers, Neil and Albert, both of Dalmatia, David of Delmar, Md., and John of Morganton, N.C; and three sisters, Lillian and Anna Adams, both of Dalmatia and Selma Engelhardt of Salina, Kan.
    He was preceded in death by one brother, Henry.
    The funeral was conducted Oct. 31 at the Redenius Funeral Home, Gilman. Burial was in the Danforth Cemetery.
