Paul and Amelia Jane Schwalm.1 Some sources record that Sadie Irene Paul was born on 24 May 1882, Schuylkill County, PA.3 She married George Frederick Fetterhoff, son of John Henry Fetterhoff and Elizabeth Hocks, on 15 April 1900, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tower City, Schuylkill County, PA.4,5,6 Sadie Irene Paul died on 9 March 1956, Pottsville Hospital, Pottsville, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 73.3,2 She was buried on 13 March 1956, at Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City, Schuylkill County, PA.3,2

MRS. SADIE FETTERHOFF
Mrs. Sadie Paul Fetterhoff, age 73 years, of Tower City, widow of George Fetterhoff, died Friday afternoon in a Pottsville hospital.
Mrs. Fetterhoff was a native of Mahantongo and had been a resident of Reinerton most of her life. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, of Tower City.
Survivors aré a son, John, of Lebanon, two daughters, Mrs. Ellen Heberling of Tower City and Mrs. Dorothy Helt of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Media Kessler of Erdman, and three brothers, Preston, John and Herbert, all of Orwin.
Services were held from the Dreisigacker Funeral Home, Tower City, Tuesday afternoon, and interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery at Tower City.7

Fred Paul, age 51 years, died at his home in Gratz, Tuesday evening, followine a brief illness.
Mr. Paul was a son of Daniel and Amelia (Sehwalm) Paul, and was a native of Upper Mahantongo Valley.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Stella Paul, two daughter's, Mrs, Robert Buffington, of Gratz, and Miss Anna Paul, at home, and one grandchild. Other survivors are three brothers and four sisters, Preston, Herbert and John Paul, all of Orwin; Mrs. Sadie Fetterhoff and Mrs. Bertha Adams, of Tower City; Mrs. Fred Klinger, of Tremont, and Mrs, Meta Kessler, of Lykens R. D.
Funeral services will be held from the residence at 10 o'clock Saturday morning. Rev. A. Levan Zechman, pastor of the Lykens Valley Reformed Charge will officiate and interment will be in the Gratz Cemetery.

Surname was wrongly given as "Keim."4 She married Franklin Andrew Adams, son of Frank Adams and Susan Fetterhoff.5 Bertha Edna Paul died on 14 July 1954, A.C. MRS. BERTHA ADAMS
Mrs. Bertha E. Adams, 66, of Tower City, died Wednesday evening at 7:35 o'clock, in Good Samaritan Hospital, this city, where 20. She suffered a stroke at that she had been a patient since June time, although pneumonia was the cause of her death.
She was a daughter of the late Daniel and Amelia Paul, and was a member of St. Paul's Church, Tower City. Her Lutheran, Frank, died in 1935.
Surviving are three children, Elsie, wife of Chester Adams, Reading; Millie, wife of Gordon Brown and Betty, wife of Leroy Donton, both of Tower City; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Sadie Fetterolf, Tower City; Mrs. Jennie Klinger, Tremont; Mrs. Meta Kessler, Klingrestown; three brothers, John, a Preston and Herbert Paul, all of Orwin.

HERBERT PAUL
The funeral of Herbert Paul, of Orwin, who died Thursday evening in the Schuylkill County Institutional District Hospital, will be held Monday afternoon. Services will be held from the Dreisigacker Funeral Home, Tower City. Interment will be in the Lutheran-Reformed Cemetery at Orwin. The Rev. Robert C. Davis will officiate.
The death of Mr. Paul occurred after a lengthy illness. He had been a patient at the hospital for three weeks.
Surviving are 11 children: Mrs. Bernice Machamer, Mrs. Anna Barton, Linda, Harold and Hilbert, all of Orwin; Regina, Baltimore, Md.: Delbert, Muir; Ronald, Williamstown and Ralph, Howard and Raymond, all of Baltimore, Md; two brothers, John and Preston Paul, both of Orwin and Mrs. Media Kessler, Erdman. A sister, Mrs. Sadie Fetterhoff, died three weeks ago.

Paul and Amelia Jane Schwalm.2 Jennie Mae Paul married Frederick Monroe Klinger, son of Emanuel Klinger and Christiana Schadel, on 5 October 1912, Erdman, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.4,5 Jennie Mae Paul died on 1 August 1955, Tremont, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 65.3

MRS. FRED M. KLINGER Mrs. Jennie Mae Klinger, 65, nee Paul, wife of Fred M. Klinger, 210 Pine St., Tremont, died Monday evening at her home. Seriously ill for several months, she was a patient in Good Samaritan Hospital from May 11 until May 27.
Born in Upper Mahantongo Twp., she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Emanalina Schwalm Paul. She lived in Tremont for 33 years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Roy, Karl and Stanley, all of Tremont; six grandchildren; three borthers, Preston, Herbert and John Paul, all of Orwin and two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Fetterhoff, Tower City, and Mrs. Meda Kessler, Lykens R. D.

     John Irvin Paul was born on 9 March 1898, Reinerton, Schuylkill County, PA.3,4 He was the son of Daniel S. Paul and Amelia Jane Schwalm.2 John Irvin Paul married Helen Mae Behney, daughter of Lewis Behney and Rebecca Heberling.1

Gunshot Wound Fatal to Man, 68
An Orwin man, known to be despondent and in ill health for the past year, died at Pottsville Hospital a short time after admission today apparently from self-inflicted bullet wound of the right temple.
John I. Paul, 68, of 12 Snyder Ave., Orwin, was pronounced dead at 2:45 a.m. today by Dr. Alba. He was admitted at 1:40 a.m. Deputy Coroner Conrad Koch ordered an autopsy be performed.
Schuykill Haven Trooper John Mazak gave the following account: Ray Stittle, of 23 N. Hand St., Tower City, was traveling east on Route 325, at approxmately 12:20 a.m., today, when he observed a car pulled off to the side the road and a man lying over the right rear bumper. He stopped to investigate with his flashlight and found the man still breathing. He went to Tower City and notified Chief of Police Alvin Lubold, who along with patrolman went to the scene and found the man still alive.
Tower City Ambulance summoned and the man was removed to Pottsville Hospital where he was listed as critical with a bullet wound of the right temple.
Mazak stated that Paul known to be despondent and in Ill health for the past year.
A native of Reinerton, Mr. Paul was a son of the late Danlel and Amelia Schwalm Paul. He was retired miner.
Mr. Paul, a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Reinerton, also belonged to Orwin Gun Club and the UMWA.
His wife, the former Helen Behney, died in 1963.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Millie Ulsh, Mrs. Gladys Koppenhaver and Mrs. Mae Minnich, all of Orwin: one son. John, Camp Hill: 13 grandchilddren and six great-grandchildren.
Stewart Dreisigacker, funeral director of Tower City, has charge and will announce rangements upon completion.
