    ELIZABETHVILLE - Shirley Sue Lebo, of Elizabethville, went to be with her Lord on October 20, 2020 while surrounded by her beloved family.
    Sue was born November 23, 1928 in Klingerstown, PA to Fred and Hattie (Bordner) Leitzel.
    She lived on a farm in Mifflin Twp. for 15 years of her married life, until the death of her husband. She became involved in banking and eventually became secretary to the bank president and Board of Directors of what was Community Banks. Sue volunteered as an EMT and was a lifetime member of Reliance Hose Co., Elizabethville. She traveled to many parts of the world and loved to go camping. Being a part of her children's and grandchildren's lives was of utmost importance to her.
    She was the widow of Albert "Whitey" Schreffler and Theodore Lebo.
    She is survived by her son Douglas Schreffler (friend Debbie), daughter Lori Paul, daughter-in-law Beth Schreffler, all of Elizabethville; 8 grandchildren, Linda Wolfe (Sam), Bill Schreffler (Kelly), Amy Lentz (Jeff), Jeffrey Welker, Candy Stone (Brock), Sara Schreffler, Kelly Martin (Matt) and Tori Schreffler; 17 great-grandchildren, Justin Mace (Ashley), Tausha Martin, Jacob, Josh, Rebecca, and Kyle Wolfe, Christian Fox, Preston Schreffler, Mackenzie, Hunter, Chase, and Emma Lentz, Lextin Schreffler, Ella Stone, Mason Krotser, Evelyn Martin, Leona Ball; 5 great-great-grandchildren, Carson and Alaina Mace, Colton and Lincoln Martin, Liam Wolfe; brothers Robert Leitzel (friend Shirley Miller), Lynn Leitzel (Louise) and sister Jo Heffron (Jack); and many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, sons Daniel and Donald Schreffler, sister Romaine Botts, brothers Fred Jr., Jim, and Bill Leitzel, and companion Al Michael.
    Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Life on November 5, 2020 at 12:00 noon at the Halifax Ambulance Building, 31 Bunker Hill Road, Halifax, PA.
    Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Berrysburg, PA.

    Hattie I. Leitzel, 91, of 33 S. Moore St., Elizabethville, formerly of Klingerstown, died Friday at home after a year's illness.
    Born in RD Dalmatia, Oct. 14, 1908, she was : a daughter of the late David and Hettie Klinger Bordner. She was educated in the Herndon area.
    She was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church, Klingerstown, and a former member of its Sunshine Class, member and former officer of Glen Chapter 425, Order of Eastern Star, Elizabethville, and a member, past Noble Grand and chaplain of Idella Rebekah Lodge 58, Dornsife.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, on June 22, 1988; a daughter, Romaine Botts, in 1997; a son, Fred Jr., in 1999; two grandsons, Scott Leitzel, in 1995, Daniel Schreffler, in 1997; a great-grandson, Tyler Dronick, in 1999; five brothers, Elmer, Lloyd, William, John and David Bordner; four sisters, Mary Stauffer, Daisy Bohner, Carrie Martz and Annie Witmer.
    Surviving are four sons, Dr. Robert, Cape Coral, Fla., Jim and Lynn, both of Elizabethville, and Bill, RR1 Herndon; two daughters, Sue Lebo, with whom she lived since 1999, and Jo Hefron, Minersville; 23 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three greatgreat-grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Michael's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Joel Petruschke will officiate. Interment will be in St. Michael's Lutheran Cemetery, Klingerstown. Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, RR1 Klingerstown, is in charge.

    Paul was employed as a mason for many companies. He served in the Navy as a Sea Bee from 1956-1959. He was a life member of Lower Mahanoy Fire Company #62.
    Paul is survived by his son, Kendell Engle; daughter-in-law, Lisa Engle; three grandsons, Curtis, Andrew, and Quinton Engle; granddaughter, Kathryn Engle; two great-granddaughters, Lia and Ana Engle; great-grandson, Foster Engle; sister, Helen Wertz; brother, Dale Engle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia A. (Leitzel) Engle in 2017 and a son, Gregory Engle in 2005.
