    Mr. Charles Francis Engle, 94, of Dalmatia, died Thursday, Nov. 12, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland. Charles was born in Lower Mahanoy Twp., on April 21, 1915, the son of the late Irvin F. and Mary A (Zeiders) Engle. He was the husband of Anna M (Stoner) Engle.
    He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Millersburg, PA. He was a farmer and shoe factory employee at Crissinger Farms, Rebuck, and Muskin Shoe, Millersburg, retired; and a member of the Hickory Corners Fire Company.
    Charles is survived by two sons, Paul Engle of Dalmatia, PA, and Dale Engle of Liverpool, PA; one daughter, Helen Wertz of Dalmatia, PA; two brothers, Allen Engle of Elizebethville, PA and Edwin Engle of Philadelphia, PA; and by one sister, Margaret Seigfrrid of Shippensburg, PA He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 10 Great grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his first wife Mabel E. (Wertz) Engle in 1981; by two brothers Clarence & Albert Engle; and by 4 sisters Leah Salisburg, Ruth Engle, Jennie Miller, & June Engle; & also by one grandson, Greg Engle.
    Viewing will be on Monday 10 to 11 AM. at James A. Reed Funeral Home. Religious Service at James A. Reed Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 16th, with William Willbert officiating. Burial will be at the Wayside Mission Cemetery, Hunter Station, PA also on Monday.

    Mrs. Mabel Ellen Engle
    DALMATIA - Mrs. Mabel Ellen Engle, 61, of Dalmatia, died Saturday at 10:40 a.m. in the Sunbury Community Hospital where she had been a patient for three weeks.
    She was employed at the Muskin Shoe Co., Millersburg. She was a charter member of the Wayside Missionary Church, Dornsife RD1
    Born on Oct. 21, 1913, in Oberlin, Dauphin County, she was the daughter of the late Jeremiah Franklin and Anna Rebecca Reigel Wert. She married Charles F. Engle, who survives.
    In addition to her husband, Mrs. Engle is survived by two sons, Paul E. of Dalmatia, and Dale E. of Millersburg; a daughter, Mrs. William Wertz of Dalmatia; five sisters, Mrs. Russell Adam of Northumberland RD1, Mrs. Sterling Boyer of Herndon RD, Mrs. Chester Jones of Blacklick, Mrs. Elwood Foyner of Dalmatia Star Route, and Mrs. Daniel Rebuck of Dornsife Star Route; and two brothers, Henry Wert of Pittsburgh, and Ralph Wert of Dalmatia.
    The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Wayside Missionary y Church, Dornsife, by the Rev. Martin Wambach. Burial will be in the Way. side Missionary Cemetery, Dornsife.
    Friends will be received at the Edward Hoover Funeral Home, Dalmatia, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., or at the church Wednesday from 1 p.m. until time of service.

    DANVILLE - Gregory Allen Engle, 40, of 285 Jackson Road, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, at Geisinger Medical Center following a brief illness.
    He was born Aug. 22, 1964, at Sunbury Gregory A. Community Engle Hospital.
    Greg was a 1982 graduate of Line Mountain High School and finished one year at the Devry Institute.
    He married the love of his life on Feb., 14, 2003.
    Greg was affiliated with the Lower Mahanoy Fire Company, Dalmatia, and was a member of United in Christ Lutheran Church, West Milton.
    He was employed as a truck driver by U.S. Express with 10 years of safe driving.
    Surviving are his grandfather, Charles Engle of Dalmatia; his father, Paul Engle of Dalmatia; mother, Virginia (Leitzel) Engle of Dalmatia; his wife, Alecia Darlene (Stark) Engle; his daughter, Allyssa N. Stark; brother and sister-in-law, Kendell and Lisa Engle and their children, Curtis, Quinn, Andy and Kathryn, all from Elizabethville; four sisters-inlaws; four brothers-in-law; mother-in-law, Irene (Renn) Stark; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
    A memorial service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in Marlow Hall, River Woods. Nursing Care Center, Lewisburg.
    The family will receive visitors at home.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
    The family is being served by the Jerre Wirt Blank.
