MILLERSBURG - Shirley M. Jury, age 90, formerly of Halifax, died November 20, 2024, at Northern Dauphin Nursing Home. She was born on November 20, 1934 in Elizabethville, PA the daughter of [the late] Edwin and Laura (Straub) Snyder.
She was a retired machinist from Brubaker Tool Co. Millersburg.
Shirley was a member of the Halifax Lutheran Parish and the Red Hat Club. She also enjoyed spending time with her family camping and baking.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Raymond, their children, Michael (Pam) Jury, Halifax, Vickie L. Jury (Clair Wiest), Millersburg, and Roger L. Jury, Halifax; Sister, Marion Marsh. Harrisburg, and a brother, Charles Snyder, Millersburg; Grandchildren, Ryan and Jeffrey Jury, Millersburg, Jennifer Jumper, Shirmansdale Christopher Mumma, Auburn, Alabama, Elizabeth Turns, Millersburg, Kyle Jury and Ali Jury, both of Halifax. Great Grandchildren, Charlee Jumper, Kiptyn Mumma, Regan Jury, Rylee Jury, Elsa Turns, Kolby Jury, Rayna Jury, Jameson Jury and Myles Jury.
She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Jury, and a grandson, Jonathan Jury.
There will be a visitation held at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd., Millersburg, on Wednesday, Nov 27, 2024 from 10-11 AM. Services officiated by Rev. Nancy Brody will start at 11 AM. Burial will follow the services at Long's Cemetery, Halifax.
Memorial donations may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, Halifax.
