    HALIFAX- Randy L. Jury, age 62, of Creek Drive passed away on Thursday, June 25th as a result of an accident while working in Baltimore, MD.
    He was born in Harrisburg, PA the son of Raymond and Shirley Snyder Jury who survive him of Halifax.
    Randy was a foreman for the L.S. Lee highway construction company, he was a member of American Legion #326, VFW Post #5750, Moose Lodge #59 and the Dauphin Fire Co.
    Surviving in addition to his parents are his sons Jeff Jury and his wife Brooke (Shaffer) and their daughters Regan and Rylee and Ryan Jury and his partner Whitney Snyder all of Millersburg; his siblings Roger Jury of Halifax, Vickie Wert and her husband Dennis of Millersburg, Michael Jury and his wife Pam of Halifax; his companion Debbie Beck of Halifax; several nieces and nephews.
    Randy loved life, was a true friend to everyone he met, was a car enthusiast, enjoyed travel, camping, spending time with his family, friends and especially his granddaughters.
    The family would like to sincerely thank Randy's crew and all his "family" at LS Lee for the love, care and compassion shown to Randy and his sons at this tragic time.
    There will be a visitation for immediate family, friends and co-workers on Monday, June 29th from 10 to 11 am at the Hoover- Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg. A memorial service will follow at 11 am. A public Celebration of Life will begin at 11:30 am at' the Millersburg American Legion, 527 N. Market St. in Millersburg.

    ELIZABETHVILLE - Melvin H. Swab, 78, of 116 W. Broad St., died yesterday at home.
    He was a retired fire warden for the state Department of Environmental Resources Bureau of Forestry, a former Littlestown police chief and a police officer for the former Pennsylvania Railroad.
    He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, the Fraternal Order of Police, Spring Mills Gun Club and the National Rifle Association.
    Surviving are his wife, Ethel E. Yerges Swab; two sons, Truman and M. Harry Jr., both of Elizabethville; five daughters, Patty Starr, Kitty Eckenrode and Althea Snyder, all of Elizabethville, Lorna Romberger Berrysburg and Elaine Swab of Halifax; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Hoover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
    Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
    Memorial contributions may, be made to his church, 205 W. Main St., Elizabethville 17023, or to Elizabethville Area Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 613, Elizabethville 17023.
