    ARTHUR E. RADLE
    Arthur E. Radle, age 60 years, 7 months and 19 days, died at his home in Mifflin Township, near Berrysburg, early this Thursday morning. He had been in ill health for several years.
    Mr. Radle was a son of the late Elias B. and Sara Jane (Shaffer) Radle and was born in Stone Valley, Lower Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, September 17, 1876. He had however, resided in Lykens Valley most of his life and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Berrysburg. He was married to Anna M. Shaffer, November 14, 1902.
    Survivors are his wife, six daughters and six sons: Mabel, Mrs. John I. Henninger, Elizabethville; Silva, Mrs. Paul Dockey, of near Pillow; Martha, Bertha, Leah and Edna Radle, all at home; Harry W. and Franklin E. Radle of Penbrook; Arthur R. Radle, Herndon; Mark, Paul, and Dean Radle, all at home, and ten grandchildren. Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Jane Roger of Baltimore, Md., and ten brothers, William Radle, Hegins R. D., Harry, John and Clarence Radle of Sunbury; Timothy Radle, Herndon R. D., Charles, Lloyd and Emory Radle of Sunbury R. D., Jerry Radle of Winfield, Pa., and Ezra Radle of Island Park, near Sunbury.
    Funeral services will be held from the residence at 1 :30 o'clock Sunday afternoon with further services in St. John's Lutheran Church, the pastor, Rev. R. E. Kramer, officiating. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.

    Lewis Klinger, 84, of Little Mahanoy Township, died in the home of his son, Calvin Klinger, Dornsife, R. D. 1, where he resided in recent years. Death followed an illness of several months.
    Klinger, son of David and Susan nah (Fetterolf) Klinger, was born in Little Mahanoy Township, and resided there all his life, during which he was engaged in agricultural pur suits. Surviving the rural resident are two sons, the one with whom he resided, and Guerney Klinger, of Klingerstown, and one daughter, Mrs. Louis Erdman, Dornsife, R. D.
    Funeral services will be held Fri day afternoon, beginning at 2:00, in the Arthur Hepler Funeral Home, Hepler, with Rev. Walter Boyer, Reformed pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Salem Reformed Church Cemetery, Rough and Ready.

    Funeral services for Calvin E. Klinger, 81, of Dornsife RD, will be conducted on Monday at 2 p.m. from the Lawrence E. Rothermel funeral home, Klingerstown RD. Rev. William Wartluft of Leck Kill will officiate with burial following in the Salem Cemetery, Klingers town RD.
    Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday evening.
    Mr. Klinger, who passed away in Northumberland County Hospital, had been a guest there for three years.
    He was born April 21, 1889 in the Klingerstown RD area and was a son of the late Lewis and Lydia Erdman Klinger.
    He was married to the former Jennie Erdman who preceded him in death on April 7, 1962. Mr. Klinger was a retired farm laborer.
    One son, Henry Klinger of Dornsife RD, survives; also eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Erdman, Gratz.

    LYKENS R.D. 1 -- Mrs. Mabel Erdman, 81, died Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Pottsvile Hospital, where she was a patient 27 days.
    Born in Klingerstown Mar. 12, 1892, Mrs. Erdman was a daughter of the late Lewis and Lydia (Erdman) Klinger. She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Klingerstown R.D.
    Mrs. Erdman was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis A. Erdman Jan. 7, 1957, and three sons, Arthur, Whalen and Homer, during 1972.
    Survivors include three sons, Kenneth Erdman, Herndon R.D; Lee Erdman, Hegins and Junior Erdman, Pillow; one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Dorothy) Wiest, Lykens R.D., with whom Mrs. Erdman resided, 24 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
    Lawrence E. Rothermel funeral directors, Klingerstown R.D. are in charge of arrangements.
