    MILTON — Anna Lou Miller, 86, of 532 Satellite Drive, Milton, died Saturday, March 21, 2015, at her home surrounded by family.
    Born Nov. 6, 1928, in Gratz, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Stella (Wiest) Paul. She married John H. Miller, who preceded her in death March 16, 1990.
    Mrs. Miller worked as a seamstress at the former Kelsey’s Sport Ware, Wiconisco.
    She was a member of the Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz.
    Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Bonita and Raymond Ramer of Milton and Cathie Wilkinson of Milton; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
    In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Viola Buffington.
    Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
    Burial will be held privately in Gratz Union Cemetery.
    The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown.

    ELIZABETHVILLE -- William V. Maurer, 81, formerly of Hebe, RR1 Herndon, died at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 24, 1998, at the Kepler Home Inc., where he lived since Nov. 5, 1996.
    He was born June 15, 1916, in Hebe, the son of the late Gurney and Maude (Wiest) Maurer.
    He was educated in Jordon Township schools.
    Mr. Maurer retired as a farmer in 1979.
    He was a member of David's United Church of Christ Church, Hebe.
    Mr. Maurer was a member of the Klingerstown Fire Company.
    He enjoyed gardening.
    Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Allen W. and his wife, Helen, of Hebe, and three grandchildren, Karen Smeltz and Dennis, both of RR1 Millersburg, and Rita of Hebe.
    He was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Lesher, in 1979.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at David's United Church of Christ Church, RR1 Herndon, by his pastor, the Rev. George Heberling. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
    Visitors may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the church.
    Contributions may be made to David's United Church of Christ Church Memorial Fund, RR1, Herndon, Pa. 17830.
    Funeral arrangements were by the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, RR1 Klingerstown.
