Dale was employed at Penn Real, Hegins. He was the husband of the late Eva Mae Hoffman, who preceded him in death in 2014.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Mae Hoffman, brother's, Joseph Hoffman, William Hoffman, Roland Hoffman, and sister, Faye Haine.
  Visitation will be held on October 14, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016, at 11:00 am at the Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz, with Rev. Gregory Lindsey, officiating. Interment will take place in the Gratz Union Cemetery, Gratz.

  Services for Amanda A. Maurer, 73, of Hebe, died Monday evening in Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg, where she had been a patient since Nov. 10, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in David's United Church of Christ Church, Hebe. The Rev. George Heberling will officiate. Interment will be in David's UCC Cemetery, Hebe. There will be no calling hours Thursday evening. Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, RD1 Klingerstown, is in charge of arrangements. She was in ill health for three weeks.
  Born in Rebuck, Aug. 16, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Rufus and Flora Adams Schwalm. She was educated in Washington Township schools.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, William, Elvin and Fred; 2 sisters, Anna and Amanda Maurer; and granddaughter, Lori Lea Buffington.
  Services will be held at David's Church, Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Gary Becker officiating. Interment will follow in Davids Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10-10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 24th at the church.
