HALIFAX - Mrs. Mabel E. Boyer, 66, of 323 Armstrong St. died yesterday in the Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg.
She was a former employee of Subquehanna Lutheran Village.
Among her survivors are a sister, Mrs. Beulah K. Rebuck of Trevorton; and a brother, Holden S. Smith of Dornsife RD.
The funeral will be conducted Friday in Millersburg.

A county native, Mrs. Helen S. Hoffner, 65, wife of Harry R. Hoffner, 416 Berrysburg Road, Millersburg, died Sunday at her home.
Mrs. Hoffner was born June 9, 1908 in Klingerstown, a daughter of the late Harvey and Minnie (Rothermel) Smith. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Lester of Sacramento and Ivan of Valley View; two brothers, Howard and Holven Smith, both of Dornsife; five sisters, Mrs. Marlin Huntzinger of Spring Glen, Mrs. Norman Kemble of Hegins, Mrs. Harlen Boyer, of Halifax, Mrs. Charles Rebuck of Treverton and Mrs. Lester Erdman of Hillsgrove; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon in Trinity Lutheran Church with her pastor, Rev. William W. Wightman, officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.
The Hoover Funeral Home, Millersburg, is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Valley View, Feb. 1, 1925, he was a son of the late Harry and Helen Smith Hoffner.
He was a retired forklift operator at Huntsinger Farms, RD1 Hegins.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento, Hegins Fire Company, Valley View Fire Company, Valley View Gun Club, Tower City Moose Lodge 1603 and a social member of American Legion Post 575, Valley View.
Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy Reitz, to whom he was married 48 years; a brother, Ivan, Valley View, several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View. The Rev. Ruth Mary Summy will officiate. Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
