    Samuel R. Leitzel. 66, of Halifax RD2, died Thursday at his home.
    He was a member of David's United Church of Christ of Hebe, Pillow Fire American Legion Post 326 of Millersburg and POS of A Lodge of Hebe.
    He is survived by his wife Mrs. Margaret Leitzel; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Rutter of Halifax RD2; six sons, Lester of Halifax RD2, Marvin of Herndon RD1, Stewart of Herndon. Billy of Millersburg, and Dennis and Jack both of Halifax; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond Bensinger of Hepler and Mrs. Mary Troutman of Harrisburg; three brothers, Naldy and Harry, both of Gratz, and David of Pillow; and 20 grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at David's United Church of Christ, Hebe, with the Rev. Paul Billow, pastor of David's Lutheran Church of Hebe, officiating. Burial will be in Hebe Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the funeral home at Berrysburg Saturday after 7 p.m.

    DALMATIA -- Stewart R. Leitzel, 80, of Middle Road, entered into rest early Tuesday morning, Jan. 3, 2012, at his home.
    He was born Sept. 14, 1931, in the Hebe area, a son of the late Samuel and Margaret (Kratzer) Leitzel. He was married for 62 years to the former Cleo A. Kieffer who survives.
    Stewart was of the Protestant faith.
    During his 80 years, he enjoyed fishing, riding his scooter with his brother, Lester, taking walks and visiting with his dear friends, the Groffs at their farm, and camping with his wife, Cleo, and their many good friends that they met while camping. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jeffery and Debra Leitzel, of Herndon, Kevin Leitzel, of Camp Hill, and Rahn and Kelly Leitzel, of Green Castle; four grandchildren, Erika Koperna and husband, Chris, Ryan Leitzel and wife, Kira, who was caregiver in his last few weeks, Whitmey Monn and husband, Jason, and Benjamin Leitzel; four great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Christopher Cassidy and Canyon Koperna; and four brothers, Lester Leitzel, of Halifax, Marvin Leitzel, of Elizabethville, Bill Leitzel, of Herndon, and Dennis Leitzel, of Halifax.
    He was preceded in death by one brother, Jack, and one sister, Ruby Rutter.
    A private graveside service will be conducted in Himmel's Church Cemetery, Rebuck, at the convenience of the family.
    Memorial donations in memory may be made to Church, 1941 Schwaben Creek Road, Rebuck, PA 17867.
