Lingering Illness Causes Death of Jordan Township Native
Mrs. Emma Wolfe. 71, Herndon, died yesterday morning of a complication at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. E. Baum. She was ill four months.
The deceased was born in Jordan Township, near Mandata, a daughter of William and Julia Dupendorf. Her husband, Henry Wolfe, died 23 years ago. Mrs. Wolfe was a member of the Reformed Church.
Surviving are four children, Mrs. D. E. Baum, with whom she resided; Mrs. Morris Rebuck, Herndon, and Oscar and Harvey Wolfe, Herndon R. D; three sisters and four brothers, Mrs. John Thomas. Middletown; Mrs. Katie Ulmer. Middletown; Mrs. Sevilla Lahr, Sunbury; Albert Dupendorf, Dalmatia; Charles, Oregon; Samuel, California, and Rev. Daniel Dupendorf, Sunbury. There are also 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 from the home. Further services will be in Urban Lutheran and Reformed Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.3 - She was buried at St. John's Lutheran and Reformed Church Cemetery, Urban, Northumberland County, PA.4

Mr. Dubendorf was always a very liberal and cheerful supporter of the church and Sunday school, and any other worthy object. He was always a good and trustworthy neighbor and citizen, whose departure causes deep heartfelt sorrow by all.1,3 - He was buried at Saint Paul's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Urban, Northumberland County, PA.2
