    DALMATIA. - Mrs. Margaret C. Schaeffer, 67, Dalmatia RD, Upper Paxton Township, Dauphin County, died Saturday at 11:50 a.m. in the Harrisburg Hospital, where she had been a patient the past three weeks.
    She had been hospitalized on two other occasions in the past year.
    Mrs. Schaeffer lived in Dalmatia before moving to the Dalmatia RD area many years ago.
    Born Sept. 15, 1907, in Middietown, Dauphin County, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Carrie Brown Dubendors.
    She was married to Mark G. Schaeffer, who survives.
    Mrs. Schaeffer was a member of the Trinity Lutheran and United Church of Christ, Dalmatia.
    Survivors besides her husband, are two sons Robert Gair of Millersburg and William Schaeffer of Greencastle RD3; a daughter, Mrs. Lionel Ressler of Wiconisco; and six grandchildren.
    Additional survivors are two brothers, Jacob A. Dubendors of Soldaina, Alaska, and d Eugene Dubendors of Auburn; and two sisters, Mrs. Francis Martz of South Williamsport, and Mrs. Forrest Holtzman of Harrisburg.
    The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Trinity Lutheran and United Church of Christ, Dalmatia. The Rev. James W. Knowles will officiate.
    Burial will be in the Dalmatia Union Cemetery. There will be no Tuesday evening, but friends may call at the church from noon until the time of service Wednesday.
    The Edwin J. Hoover Funeral Home, Dalmatia, is making the arrangements.

    Born in Hickory Corners, Lower Mahanoy Township, Feb. 12, 1913, he was the son of the late William S. and Lerie Long Schaeffer.
    Mr. Schaeffer was a member of the Trinity Lutheran and United Church of Christ Church, Dalmatia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He also was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 59 of Millersburg and the Dalmatia Fire Company.
    He is survived by his wife, Ruth A; a son, William A. of Greencastle; a daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Ressler of Wiconisco; a stepson, Robert V. Gair of Millersburg; three sisters, Mrs. Irene Wommer of Millersburg and Mrs. Esther Hoffman and Mrs. Gladys Nace of Dalmatia; and six grandchildren.
    The funeral was conducted today at 2 p.m. in the Trinity Lutheran and United. Church of Christ Church by the Rev. Franklin Patschke. Burial was in the adjacent cemetery. Visitation was held today fron noon until the service.

    Born in Camden, N.J., Aug. 16, 1919, he was a son of the late Albert and Carrie Brown Dubendorf.
    He married the former Sadie E. Enders on Dec. 29, 1945, having just celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on Thursday
    He was raised in the Protestant faith.
    He served in the Army as a Tech Sgt. during World War II.
    He was employed in the maintenance department at the former Reading Bleach and Dye Company, Reading, retiring in 1982.
    He was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Dubendorf; and a grandson, Darren Dubendorf.
    Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Karrie K., wife of Richard R. Pauley New Ringgold; two granddaughters, Cindy K., wife of Richard Eickhoff, Gilberton, and Christa L., wife of Daniel Haas, New Ringgold; five great-grandchildren.
    Religious services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton Funeral Home Inc., Orwigsburg, with the Rev. Wanda Schwandt officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 9 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Zion's Red Church Cemetery Orwigsburg.

    A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, 1998, in Anderson Funeral Home in Hood River for Charles W. and Mary L. Dubendorf, who died Aug. 23 as the result of an automobile accident. Mr. Dubendorf was 77; Mrs. Dubendorf was 73.
    Mr. Dubendorf was born Sept. 14, 1920, in Middletown, Pa., and was raised Vernonia. He served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II in England. He was a head saw filer for Champion Building Products in Odell from 1958 until his retirement in 1982.
    Mrs. Dubendorf was born Dec. 30, 1924, in Lamar, Mo. Her maiden name was Hall. She was raised in Vernonia and was a fruit packer for Duckwall Packing Co. until the late 1980s.
    They married in 1942 and lived in Vernonia before moving to Tillamook in 1957 and to Odell in 1958.
    Survivors include their sons, Richard of Woodenville, Wash., and Terry of Gresham; and three grandchildren. Mrs. Dubendorf is also survived by her sister, Ruth Hillis of Salem. Their son Dan died in 1961; a grandchild died in 1981.
    Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Hood River. The family suggests remembrances to Hood River Senior Citizens Center.

    GREASHABER, EVELYN GRACE; died peacefully in Respite At the Beach in Virginia Beach, Virginia; on May 27, 2011. She was the beloved mother of Barbara Malam, Diane McGaw and Donna Edmonds; grandmother of Donald and Bryan Edmonds, Kyle and Ashley McGaw, Joseph and Leah Malam; and great grandmother of Ella and Holly Edmonds and Valerie Edmonds. She was born on January 12, 1923 in Lancaster Pennsylvania, where she lived until she enlisted in the Navy during World War II where she met her husband, Don. Following her discharge she lived in Lincoln Park and Southgate, Michigan with her husband where they raised their family. He preceded her in death in 2000. Both she and her husband had careers at JL Hudsons, now the Target Corporation. She moved to Virginia Beach in 2003, and died on May 27, 2011 at the age of 88 of natural causes. A Memorial Service will be held for Evelyn surrounded by her daughters and family on July 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Woodside II Mausoleum at Michigan Memorial Park, 32163 Huron River Drive where she will be interned next to her husband. Immediately following, a gathering in remembrance of her life will be held at the Robert H Jones Knights of Columbus on Outer Drive, Lincoln Park, Michigan. Donations may be made to VFW Post 16200 Dix-Toledo, Southgate Michigan.
