    Paul Klinger
    SUNBURY - Paul W. Klinger, 65, Sunbury RD3, a supervisor, died at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he had been a patient since Jan. 3.
    At the time of his death he was supervisor of Rockefeller Township, a position he he ld for the past 23 years. He was also road foreman of the township.
    Mr. Klinger was a member of the United Lutheran Church, Sunbury RD1; F&AM Lodge 22, Sunbury; Tall Cedars and the Tall Cedar Grove Association, Sunbury; BPOE Lodge 267, Sunbury: Stonington Fire Company; Roush Hunting Club, Waterville: and a life member of the Friendship Hose Company, Sunbury.
    Born in Plum Creek, Jan 2, 1910. he was the son of the late Peter and Carrie Fasold Kligser. In 1939 he marred the former Evelyn Burns, who survives.
    In addition to his widow his survivors are two dauhters Mrs. Karen D. Hoffman of Sunbury RD3 and Mrs. Cheryl S. Gower of Lewisburg RD1; four grandchildren; and three brothers, Amnon L. Klinger of Waynesboro, Homer C. Klinger of Sunbury RD2 and W. Stanley Klinger of Sunbury RD3.
    The funeral will be Friday at 2 pm. in the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, Sunbury, with the Rev. Vitolds Gobins, his pastor, and the Rev. Raymond Hoffman of Augustaville. officiating.
    Burial will be in Northumberland Memoral Park, Stonington.
    Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening.
    Masonic services will be at 9 p. m. Thursday in the funeral home.

    SUNBURY — Evelyn M. "Gram" Klinger, 91, of RR3 Sunbury, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2006, at Manor Care Services, Sunbury.
    She was born Sept. 14, 1914, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Ermy and Emily (Corkins) Burns. She married Paul W. Klinger, who preceded her in death in 1975.
    Evelyn was a member of Stonington Baptist Church and a former member of United Lutheran Church, RR4 Sunbury.
    She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
    Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Hoffman and husband Kimber of RR3 Sunbury and Cheryl Riland Meredith and husband John of RR4 Sunbury; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Kathryn Murdock of Bristol, Tenn., Harriet Ohlm of Towanda, Sara Glaum of Philadelphia and Irene Mahon of Lewisburg.
    In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Suzanne; five brothers, William, Clyde, Chester, Clarence and Ermy; and two sisters, Eleanor and Beatrice.
    Services were held Saturday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury by the Rev. J. Douglas Hallman.
    Burial was made in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
