RAYMOND THOMAS REBER, 69, of 472 Bailiff Road, North East, Md., died Sunday of blood poisoning in Perry Point Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Perry Point.
Mr. Reber was a forklift operator at Chrysler Corp.'s assembly plant, Newark, for 22 years, retiring in 1988. Before that, he had worked at Textile Foundry, Wyomissing, Pa., for 15 years.
He was born in Lower Heidelburg Township, Pa.
He served in the Marine Corps during World War II and was a member of Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 30, Bel Air; and 'Veterans of Foreign Wars, Sinking Spring, Pa.
He enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and was a life member of the American Motorcycle Association. He was an avid race car fan and a member of Good Sam Camping Club.
He is survived by his wife, Leonora B. Reber; four daughters, Linda Scephan of Reading, Pa., Wendy Zambito of Robesonia, Pa., Cindy Reber and Cheryl Reber, both of North East; two sisters, Marian Hirnesien of Fritztown, Pa., and Dot Deysher of Lebanon, Pa; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Crouch Funeral Home, 127 S. Main St., North East, and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Dengler Funeral Home, Main and Spruce street, Birdsboro, Pa., where a service will be at 10 a.m Thursday. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gibraltar, Pa.

     Barbara Klinger was the daughter of Earl Stanford Klinger and Margaret E. Hummel.¹ Some sources list a Barbara Klinger as daughter of Earl and Margaret Hummel Klinger, but this may not be correct. Neither census records nor the obituaries of both Earl and Margaret make any mention of a daughter Barbara. It is possible that these souyrcves are mistakenl;y referring to Barbara Klinger, daughter of Earl's son John W. Klinger.

     Charles Monroe Scheib was born on 31 March 1921, Wiconisco, Dauphin County, PA.^4,5 He was the son of Alfred Theodore Scheib and Sarah S. Senior.³ Charles Monroe Scheib died on 14 May 1984, Lykens, Dauphin County, PA, at age 63.⁶

Charles M. Scheib, 68, of 190 North St., Lykens, died Monday in his home.
He was born in Lykens, a son of the late Alfred and Sarah Senior Scheib.
He was a retired employee of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Mr. Scheib was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Wiconisco, and Wiconisco Fire Company.
Surviving is a brother, Bruce E., Lykens.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from John M. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens. The Rev. Joseph F. Brady will officiate. Interment will be in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco.

     Glenn R. Werntz was born on 28 August 1937.¹ He was the son of Arthur Allen Werntz and Edna M. Scheib.¹ Glenn R. Werntz married Joan Schreiner.² Glenn R. Werntz died on 15 January 2012, Hummelstown, Dauphin County, PA, at age 74.¹

Lyons, Pastor of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish, Steelton, officiating. A viewing will be held on Thu. from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Immediately following the services, everyone is welcome to join the family for a gathering @ Citizens Fire Co., 272 Second St., Highspire.

     Peggy Jo Werntz was born on 19 January 1959, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA.¹ She was the daughter of Glenn R. Werntz and Joan Schreiner.¹ Peggy Jo Werntz died on 20 December 2009, Memorial Hospital, South Bend, St. Joseph County, IN, at age 50.¹

Peggy Jo (Werntz) Sorgiovanni, 50, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away December 29, 2009 in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Indiana. Born January 19, 1959 in Harrisburg, she has resided in Mishawaka, Indiana for the past 21 years.
Peggy graduated from Central Dauphin East High School, Class of 1976, her favorite things were reading and her much loved cats.
She was the daughter of Glenn Werntz and the late Joan (Shreiner) Werntz and stepmother, Mary Werntz of Harrisburg.
She is also survived by her daughter, Stefanie Sorgiovanni Monahan (Rich) of Yucaipa, CA; and by her companion, Dick Keon of Mishawaka, Ind., two brothers: Gary Werntz (Danni) of Linglestown and Dale Werntz (Sheri) of Shermansdale; a grandmother, Edna Werntz of Harrisburg; and numerous other family. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Arthur Werntz, Harrisburg; Jack and Louise Shreiner, Downingtown; and John and Harriet DeBello, Carlisle.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 15,2010 at 11:00 AM at Susquehanna Valley Evangelical Free Church, 6433 Union Deposit Rd. Burial will be immediate ly following at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens where she will rest next to her beloved Mother.
