Chester W.[L.] Paul, 38 years, of 2614 Woodwell Road, Baltimore, Md., died Tuesday afternoon in St. Joseph's Hospital in that city. He had been in failing health in recent weeks.
Mr. Paul, better known as "Jim", was a native of Orwin, a son of the late William and Fianna Bohr Paul. He had been a resident of Baltimore for the past twelve years, where he was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Company. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the army in its transportation service in the European campaigns.
Surviving are his wife, the former Louise Hornbeck of Tower City; a daughter Melissa and a son Rodney; his stepfather, Samuel Mease of Orwin; three sisters, Mrs. Vesta Hand, Orwin; Mrs. Elva Baker of Elizabethville; Mrs. Jennie Reading of Tower City; three brothers, Oliver of Baltimore; Homer of Detroit, Mich; and Roy W. Paul, Tower City.
The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from the Stewart J. Dreisigacker Funeral Home, Tower City. Services will be conducted by Rev. Clarence Reeser, pastor of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Rcinerton. Interment will be made in Greenwood Cemetery.

Born in Pillow, she was a daughter of Ray Straub, Tremont, and the late Florence (Klock) Straub. She was a retired sewing machine operator, last employed at Morris Manufacturing Co., Tremont.
She was a Delaware resident for the past three years.
Surviving, in addition to her father, are her husband, Ray Klinger; two sons, Fred, Tremont, and Dennis, Hegins; a daughter, Linda, wife of Philip Amos, Lewisberry; six brothers, David Straub, Houston, Texas, Mark Straub, Donaldson, Lawrence and Delbert Straub, both of Lancaster, Lester Straub, Springfield, Va., and Dean Straub Tremont; a sister, Esther, wife of Michael Culbert, Sewell, N.J; three grandchildren, a great-grandchild.
