     John Lamar Readinger was born on 21 December 1937, Tower City, Schuylkill County, PA.2,3 He was the son of John Ignatius Readinger and Jennie Elizabeth Paul.1 John Lamar Readinger was baptized on 18 February 1938, Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Williamstown, Dauphin County, PA.2 He died on 15 February 2011, Muir, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 73.3,4

John L. Readinger, 73, of Washington Street, Muir, passed away Tuesday at home with his family by his side.
Born in Tower City, Dec. 21, 1937, he was a son of the late John and Jenny Paul Readinger.
John was a 1955 graduate of Porter Township High School.
He was an Army veteran.
John retired after 19 years of service with Central Storage, Harrisburg.
He was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed camping along the Juniata River and boating on Lake Mead with his family. He was very proud and enjoyed watching his grandson's racing team at Selinsgrove. He dearly loved his dog, Kai, who brought great joy to him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Ronald Readinger.
Surviving are his wife, Dayne M. Bixler Readinger; a daughter, Spring M. Davis and her husband, Glenn, Muir; a son, Matthew J. Readinger and his wife, Jennifer, East Berlin; four grandchildren, Glenn, Chad, Michelle and Faith.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chapel of Dimon Funeral Homes Inc., Tower City, with the Rev. Edward Gobrecht officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the chapel. Memorial donations in John's name can be made to St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Dietrich Avenue, Orwin, PA 17980.      Ronald Jay Readinger is also referred to as Skip in some sources.2 He was born on 16 July 1940, Tower City, Schuylkill County, PA.3,4 He was the son of John Ignatius Readinger and Jennie Elizabeth Paul.1 Ronald Jay Readinger was baptized on 15 September 1940, Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Williamstown, Dauphin County, PA.5 He married Ruth D. Bowman, daughter of Bernard Bowman and Arlene (?).6 Ronald Jay Readinger died in February 1983, at age 42.3 Prior to his death, Ronald was living in the vicinity of Tower City, Schuylkill County, PA.3

Louise M. Paul, 80, formerly of Tower City, died Friday morning at Oak Hill Center, Staunton, Va.
Born in Tower City, Sept. 30, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ester M. Thompson Hornbeck.
She was retired from the former Bobbi Rogers Garment Factory, Wiconisco.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Tower City.
Her husband, Chester "Jim," died in 1961.
Surviving are two sons, Rodney Paul, Tower City, and Robert Meck, Sanford, Fla; a daughter, Melissa Mayhen, Waynesboro, Va; two sisters, Claire Bowne, Hialeah, Fla., and Betty Shuey, Grafton, Va; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Chapel of Dimon Funeral Homes Inc., Tower City. The Rev. Paul Baughman will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, RD Tower City.
