    John M. Godlewski, 56, of Etters and Pitman, died Tuesday at Harrisburg Hospital.
    Born in Taylor, Oct. 29, 1952, he was a son of the late Anthony and Helen Samsock Godlewski.
    He was a 1970 graduate of Riverside High School, Taylor, and a 1974 graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
    He was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Harrisburg, for the past 34 years, where he recently served as director of the Bureau of Budget and Fiscal Management for the past several years.
    He was a member of Newberry Township Fire Department, Etters, and Mahantongo Fire Company, Pitman.
    He enjoyed gardening and mowing the lawn. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and Penn State and Green Bay Packers football fan.
    Surviving are his wife, Delores M. Deitrich Godlewski, Etters, whom he married April 9, 1977; two children, Matthew Godlewski, Mechanicsburg, and Rebekah Godlewski, Yocumtown; three sisters, Judy, Nancy and Barbara Godlewski, all of Taylor; a brother, Anthony "Tony" Godlewski, Williamsport.
    A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, 1133 Ridge Road, Klingerstown, where the funeral will follow at 11 a.m. The Rev. Mark Rothermel will officiate. Interment will be made in St. Paul's Evangelical Congregational Cemetery, Pitman. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to either the Newberry Township Fire Department, 2145 York Haven Road, Etters, PA 17319 or Mahantongo Fire Company, RO. Box 99, Pitman, PA 17964.

    SELINSGROVE RD1 -- Mrs. Mary Brosus Sheib, 84, Selinsgrove RD1, a former resident of Good Spring and Klingerstown, died Friday at 4:29 p.m. at the Hollie Peace Convalescent Home in Selinsgrove where she was a guest for the past 26i months.
    She was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Wolfgang Brosius. Born at Pitman, June 10, 1887, she was a member of the Hepler's Church of God at Pitman.
    Her first husband, Charles Deitrich, preceded her in death Nov. 13, 1928; her second husband, Frank Scheb, preceded her in death Feb. 27, 1964.
    She is survived by five children: Mrs, Marlin Baum, Klingerstown; Harry Dietrich, Klingerstown RD1; Mrs. Paul Smith, Baltimore Md; Mrs. Fred Shadle, Valley View; Mrs. James Murphy, Aldan, Pa.
    Also three step-children: Mrs. Paul Walters, Harrisburg; Mrs. Walton Davis, Harrisburg; and Mrs. Audrey Manthorre, Malven, Mass; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchUdren; and one sister, Mrs. Lizzie FryMoyer, of Mount Carmle.
    Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hepler's Church of God at Pitman, with burial in adjoining church cemetary. The Rev. James Snare, her pastor, of Valley View, will officiate.
    Friends and relatives will be received at the Lawrence Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown RD1, on Sunday evening, also at the church on Monday from noon until the time of service.
