  Surviving are son Dennis R., husband of Phyllis Buck of Chapin, S.C; daughter Joanne B., wife of Bill C. Hohenshilt of Palmyra; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sister Marion Carpenter and brother Richard Mohler.
  Private graveside services will be held. Interment will be in the Grantville Cemetery. Rothermel Funeral Home, Palmyra, is handling arrangements.

  Born in Lebanon County, he as the son of Vesta Mumma Buck, Palmyra, and the late Roy D. Buck, who died in 1957. He was employed as a mechanic on heavy equipment at Bethlehem Mines Corp., formerly the H. E. Millard Stone Quarry, Annville. He had worked there or the last 30 years.
  He was a World War II veteran, and a member of Palm Lutheran Church and the Palmyra VFW (a past commander), a quartermaster for 18 years and a member of Amerian Legion Post 72.
  Surviving in addition to his wife, Pauline Mohler Buck, are one son, Dennis R., Lebanon RD 3; a daughter, Joanne, wife of Bill Hohenshilt, Palmyra, and four granddaughters.
