    MILLERSBURG - Christine Harper Koppenhaver, 87, of Millersburg died June 8 in Britthaven, New Bern, N.C.
    She had been a member of Calvary Wesleyan Church.
    Surviving are a son, Floyd of Millersburg; a daughter, Ann Kopec New Bern; two brothers, Joseph and Albert Harper, both of Millersburg; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
    Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in her church.
    Cotton Funeral Home, New Bern, and Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax, handled arrangements.
    Memorial donations may be made to Wesleyan Women's Institute, c/o the church, Moore Street, Millersburg 17061.4

    MILLERSBURG Joseph R. Harper, 91 of Millersburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at his home. He was born Friday, December 29, 1916 in Millersburg, Son of the late Edward & Cora Nace Harper. He was the husband of the late Miriam A. Koppenhaver Harper for 68 years. He retired from Muskin Shoe Company after 43 years, and from Susquehanna Printing after another 14 years. He was a member of Calvary Wesleyan Church, Millersburg where he served as church treasurer for over 50 years. He served in the US Army in Egypt, France, Belgium, and Germany during WWII. He is most remembered for his sense of humor and for his love of his famly, his God, and his church. Surviving are Sons Bruce Harper of Enders, James Harper of Heathsville, VA, Harold Harper of Millersburg; Grandchildren Walter Harper of Danbury, CT, Scott Harper of Broadway, NC, Audrey Harper of Farnham, VA, Sondra Horton of Columbus, NJ, Sherry Mattis of Palmyra; 11 Great grandchildren and a great great grandson. He was preceded in death by sisters Violet Matter, Christine Koppenhaver, Florence Balash, Ruth Harper, and brothers Russell and Albert Harper. Services will be held at Calvary Wesleyan Church 294 Moore St. Millersburg on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Robert Simpkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax. Friends will be received 7-9 P.M., Thursday, April 10 and 10-11 AM Friday April 11 at the church.
