MILLERSBURG - Frances "Ellie" Beaver, 84, of 401 Center Street, died Friday, August 2, 2002, at Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg.
She was born February 26, 1918, the daughter of the late Carlos and Maude Maurer Brosius.
She was a retired floor lady from the former Puritan Fashions in Millersburg. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Killinger.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Harry E. Beaver; a step-son, Richard A. Beaver of Hummels Wharf, PA; two brothers, John and Blair Brosius; a sister, Mary Deibler, all of Millersburg; two step-grandchildren; three step-greatgrandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Melvin Brosius and a sister, Fern McCormick.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the Hoover Funeral Homes, Inc., Millersburg. Burial will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Killinger. Viewing will be from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

WARNER ROBINS - Mrs. Fern M. McCormick, 51, of 500 Todd Circle, died at the Robins Air Force Base hospital today following a long illness. Services will be announced by ChristopherSmith Funeral Home.
Mrs. McCormick, a native of Berrysburg, Penn., had lived in Warner Robins for 10 years, moving from Millersburg, Penn. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Warner Robins.
Survivors include her husband, Fred R. McCormick, Warner Robins; two sons, Fred R. MILLERSBURG- Karl E. Deibler-72- of 208 Klinger Road, passed away on Friday December 4, 2009 at his residence.
He was born November 11, 1937 in Millersburg, PA son of the late Roy Deibler and Mary Brosius Deibler who survivies him of Dornsife.
He was retired from the Pennsylvania liquor control board. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Rife and the NRA. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling.
In addition to his mother, Karl is survived by a son Scott and his fiance Shelly of Pillow; a daughter Shari Knouse and her husband Daniel of Harrisburg; a sister, Sandy Bobb of Dornsife; grandchildren Lindsay Deibler of Enola, Heather Lenker of Millersburg and Daniel Thomas of CA; great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Zane and Mateo Lenker.
Memorial Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Rife on Saturday Dec. 12, 2009 at 5:00 pm with Rev. Elizabeth George officiating. Visitation will be from 4:30-5 pm on Saturday at the church.
Inurnment at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Killinger at the convenience of the family.
Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg is handling the arrangements.

MILLERSBURG - Fred R. McCormick Sr., 69, formerly of Millersburg, died Sunday in St. Petersburg, Fla.
He was the widower of Fern B. McCormick; a former employee of Brubaker Tool and Middletown Air Depot; and a retired Air Force master sergeant.
Surviving are two sons, Fred Jr. and Ross P., both of St. Petersburg; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Reinhard Funeral Home here with Ross P. McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery, Killinger.

Harry retired from TRW, where he was an inspector.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Elva and Hellen, and one brother, John.

MILLERSBURG - Betty L. Brosius, 92, of Millersburg died Wednesday, April 5th at the Manor at Susquehanna Village.
She was born on October 22, 1924 in Millersburg the daughter of the late Elmer and Ruth (Schwalm) Miller. She was the widow of the late John P. Brosius.
She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Killinger, where she was active with the Cheerful Workers ladies group. She was a past member of the Millersburg Art Association.
As a teenager she sang over the Harrisburg & Sunbury radio stations with her sisters who were known as the Singing Trio. She enjoyed playing the mandolin. Later, she enjoyed quilting and won several blue ribbons at the Gratz Fair and the PA Farm Show. She enjoyed painting and was known for enhancing black and white photos with oil. While taking road trips she enjoyed looking at fall foliage, covered bridges, and she had a knack for finding 4-Leaf clovers.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Conz of Millersburg; four grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; sister Shirley Nye.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by sisters Phyllis Barry, Helen Smith, Jean Murdock, Hazel Scheidler, and Elsie Novinger, brothers Howard, Delbert, Reuben, Irvin, and Henry Miller.
The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM on Monday, April 10th at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes, Inc., Millersburg. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Salem Lutheran Cemetery, Killinger.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Sacramento. The Rev. Edwin Brooks, Hummelstown, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sacramento. There will be no viewing. Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
