    Edna Snyder
    Mrs. Edna Romberger Snyder, 77, of Pitman, wife of Victor E. Snyder, died Tuesday, 4:30 p.m., in Pottsville Hospital. She was admitted Monday and had been in ill health for two years.
    Mrs. Snyder was born Nov. 15, 1896, in Eldred Township, a daughter of the late James and Josephine Seigfreid Romberger. She was married to Victor Snyder June 6, 1914 in Pitman. She attended Zion's Evangelical Congregational Church and Sunday School at Pitman and was educated in the Pitman schools.
    Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Bertha, wife of Bruce Troutman, of Pitman; Jean, wife of Warren Snyder, of Boalsburg; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held Saturday from the Lawrence E. Rothermel Funeral Home, RD Klingerstown, with Rev. Abram Rhoads, Evangelical Congregational Church, Pitman, officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's E. C. Cemetery, Pitman.

    Victor C. Snyder
    PITMAN - The funeral for Victor C. Snyder, 90, of Pitman, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the Zion Evangelical. Congregational Church, Pitman RD1, by the Rev. Abram E. Rhoads. Burial will be in St. Paul's EC Cemetery, Pitman RD1.
    There will be no calling hours Thursday evening. Friends may call in the church Friday from 9 a.m. to the time of the service.
    The Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown RD1, is i in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Snyder died Sunday at 11:30 p.m. in the Friendly Nursing Home, Pitman RD1, where he was a resident since Jan. 14. He had been in ill health for one month.
    Born at Leck Kill, Oct. 12, 1892, he was a son of the late Edwin and Mary Herb Snyder. His wife, the former Edna Romberger, died in 1974.
    A retired farmer, he was a member of the Zion Evangelical Congregational Church and Sunday School, Pitman RD1, and the Mahantongo Fire Company, Pitman.
    He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bruce Troutman of Pitman RD1 and Mrs. Warren Snyder of Pitman; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Lloyd of Mohnton, and Allen of Selinsgrove.

    Mrs. Ruth Miller, age 54 years, died at her home, Reservoir Heights, Millersburg, yesterday.
    Survivors are her husband, Elmer E. Miller; four sons and seven daughters, Howard and Irving Miller, of Hartford, Connecticut; Reuben and Delbert Miller, both at home; Mrs. Alvin Murdock, of Hartford, Connecticut; Mrs. Wayne Smith, of Bristol; Elsie, Shirley, Phyllis, Betty, and Hazel, all at home. Other survivors are two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Edwin Shadle, of Valley View; Mrs. Aaron Lucas, of Philadelphia; and Lloyd and Ralph M. Schwalm, both of Vallev View.
    Funeral services will be held from the Reigle Funeral Home, Millersburg, at 2 o'clock Saturday Rev. H. M. Mentzer, pastor of the Valley View United Brethren Church will officiate and interment will be in the Sacramento Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the Funeral Home Friday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
