    ELIZABETHVILLE - Mrs. Maude M. Brosius, 73, of Elizabethville, died Wednesday at her home.
    She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church of Elizabethville.
    She is survived by her husband, Carlos; two sons, John and Blair, both of Millersburg RD; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Deibler of Millersburg RD, Mrs. Harry Beaver of Millersburg and Mrs. Fred McCormick of Warner Robins, Ga; three brothers, David and Roy Maurer, both of Hershey, and Gurney Maurer of Elizabethville RD; three sisters, Mrs. Arlington Koppenhaver of Elizabethville, Mrs.
    Carrie Stoneroad of Elizabethville and Mrs. Fay Arnold of Asbury Park, N.J; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home in Berrysburg, with Rev. David R. Hauck, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Killinger Lutheran Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the funeral home Friday after 7 p.m.

    Joel R. Maurer, age 81 years, died at his home, East Main Street, town, Wednesday morning.
    Mr. Maurer was a son of Peter and Eliza (Rebuck) Maurer and was born in Mahanoy Township, Schuylkill County. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Killinger.
    Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Maurer, five daughters, Mrs. Carlos Brosius, Elizabethville R. D; Mrs. Charles Hain, Mrs. Arlington Koppenhaver and Mrs. Carrie Stoneroad, all of Elizabethville; Mrs. Faye Arnold, Asbury Park, New Jersey; three sons, David and Roy Maurer, both of Hershey R. D; and Guerney Maurer, Elizabethville R. D; twenty-eight grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren, and one brother, Guerney Maurer of Herndon R. D.
    Services will be held from the Hoover Funeral Home, Berrysburg, at 2:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Rev. Lloyd R. Helt, pastor of the Loyalton Evangelical United Brethren Church will officiate and interment will be in the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery at Killinger.
    Friends may call at the Hoover Funeral Home after 7:00 o'clock Friday evening.3
