    John D. Clark, 68, Dies At Spring Glen
    John D. Clark, 68, of Spring Glen Star Route died at his home Sunday evening. He was a son of the late Franklin and Mary (Rose) Clark, and is survived by his wife, the former Viola M. Wiest, one son, Allen R. Clark of Hegins, an adopted daughter, Mrs. Stanley Fulk of Millersburg, also four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was a mem- ber of Gratztown IOOF Lodge 563.
    Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Marlin S. Reed funeral home in Pillow. The Rev. Russell Heintzelman of Hegins will officiate. Burial will be made in the Gratz Union Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9.

    Mrs. Victor Maglada Wiest, wife of the late Printon Wiest, died at her home in Sacramento, Wednesday evening.
    She was born in Hubley Township September 22, 1870, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dieter.
    Surviving are the following children, Mrs. Ray Morgan, Donaldson, Mrs. Jas. Williams, Spring Glen; Mrs. Warren Leitzel, Hebe; Earl, Tremont: Clair, Fleetwood; Arthur and Paul, Sacramento: Mark, U. S. Army, Hawaiian Islands. There are 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral from the A.R. Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, Mondav morning. Further services in St. Pauls Church. Sacramento, with Dr. Sultzbach officiating. Interment in Union cemetry Sacramento.4
