  Born in Hegins PA, and son of Clarence and Annie (Dietrich) Woomer, he moved to Lancaster and worked for AMP, Incorporated until his retirement in 1997.
  A devoted, kind and generous father and doting grandfather, Ron was loved by many. He enjoyed the great outdoors and was a hunter and fisherman, a former Boy Scout Leader, and baseball coach. He had many hobbies, including photography, firearms, science, and coin collecting. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Phillies, Flyers and Hershey Bears. Ron had a great sense of humor, and loved animals.
  Ron was preceded in death by his wife Lynne (Wrigley) Woomer, and is survived by his son, Ronald L. Woomer, daughter Teri, wife of Scott Charney, four grandchildren, Jimmy and Becca Woomer, Lucas and Tanner Charney, and his longtime companion, Ardella Bixler.
  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 27th at Richard A. Sheetz Funeral Home 2024 Marietta Ave., Lancaster. All are invited to visit with the family beginning at 10:00 AM.

  Mr. Clark was born Jan. 31, 1915 in Northumberland Qpunty and was the son of the late John and Viola Wiest Clark. He was the last member of his immediate family. He was a miner and coal trucker. He was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins; Valley Lodge 797 Free and Accepted Masons, and the Hegins Fire Company.
  Surviving are his widow, the former Verona Deitrich, of Hegins; one daughter, Barbara, wife of Ronald Shutt, at home; three sons, Lyle and Richard, both of Valley View, and Robert, of Hegins; six grandchildren.
  Services will be held Thursday morning from the Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, with the Rev. Herbert Dewees, of Hegins, officiating. Burial will be in St. John's United Methodist Cemetery, Hegins.

  He was born on Thursday, February 28, 1935, in Hegins Twp., a son of the late Allen Clark and the late Verona (Dietrich) Clark.
  He was a graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School and received his Municipal Police Certification from the Pennsylvania State Police Academy.
  Lyle was the Hegins Twp Police Chief , then worked for the Susquehanna Twp Police Department, then was a security guard for Kocher Coal, Valley, and then retired from the Schuylkill County Sheriff's Office.
  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View.
  He was also a member of Fand AM Lodge 797, Valley View and the Fraternal Order of Police.
  He wife Marie E (Hepler) Clark passed away in 2020. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and by a daughter, Donna Marie Melocheck.
  He is survived by s son, Dennis L Clark and his wife Judy of Pitman; a step daughter, Kim K Klouser of Harrisburg; a step son, Kent K Klouser of Beach Creek; two grandchildren; one step grandchild; six great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Clark of Valley View and Robert Clark of Hegins; a sister, Barbara Miller of Hegins; and several nieces and nephews.
  Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.
  A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday at the funeral home.
  Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
