  Mrs. Elva Wiest Leitzel, 71, of Hebe, Herndon' RD1, died at 5:50 a.m. today at her home. She had been in failing health for the past 18 months.
  She was born April 5, 1897, at Spring Glen, daughter . of the late Printon and McCleta Dieter Wiest. She was a member of St. David's Lutheran Church, Hebe.
  Her husband, Warren Leitzel, died in May, 1953.
  She is survived by four daughters, Irene, wife of Russell H. Bohner, of Shamokin Dam; Gladys, wife of Max Maurer, of Sunbury; Roxie, wife of Donald Wetzel, of Herndon, and Marlene, wife of Lamar Matter, of Herndon RD1, with whom she resided; two sons, Leon, of Klingerstown, and Ray, of Gratz; 14 grandchildren; five great- grandchildren, and three brothers, Mark and Clair Wiest, both of Fleetwood, and Arthur Wiest, of iSacramento.
  Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from St. David's Church, Hebe, with Rev. Paul Billow, pastor, officiating. Burial will be made in the adjoining church cemetery.
  friends and relatives may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the church. The Lawrence E. Rothermel funeral home, Klingerstown RD, is in charge of arrangements.
