    Gordon E. Klinger, age 58 years, died at his home in Lykens Township, near Gratz, Monday afternoon.
    Mr. Klinger was a son of the late Francis and Harriet (Troutman) Klinger, and was a native Jordan Township, Northumberland County, although he had resided in the Gratz community most of his life. He was a mem. ber of Simeon's Lutheran Church Reformed Church, Gratz.
    Survivors, are his wife, Mrs. Jennie Rothermel Klinger, and two daughters, Mrs. Allen Wolfe, of Lykens Township, and Mrs. William Straub, at home. Other survivors are two brothers and three sisters, William Klinger, of Lykens Township; Theodore Klinger, of Elizabethville R. D; Mrs. Lottie Shoop, of Hershey; Mrs. Sallie Umholtz, of Gratz, and Mrs. Jennie Dunleavy, of Elizabethville; and six grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held from the residence at 10 o'clock Saturday morning with further services in Simeon's Lutheran and Reformed Church, Gratz. Rev. W. Z. Artz, pastor of the Lykens Valley Lutheran Parish, and Rev. A. L. Zechman, pastor of the Lykens Valley Reformed Charge will officiate. Interment will be in the Gratz Cemetery.

    Israel Daniel, formerly proprietor of the Union House at Gratz, died at that place on May 22nd, 1917 after a long illness. Several years ago he sustained injuries by falling from a wagon, and has not been well since.
    Deceased was a son of Joel and Caroline Daniel, born in Lykens township Oct. 10, 18S9; was baptized by tbe Rev. Ephraim Kieffer, Nov. 27th of the same year and confirmed a member of the Reformed Church at Gratz by Rev. Engle April 13, 1878; united in marriage to Sevilla Troutman July 27, 1884 by Rev. Engle, to this union were born nine children, seven of them surviving their father. His first wife having died, he was married a second time to Emma J. Williard by the Rev. Zimmerman, May 8, 1904, who survives him; also one child.
    The funeral services were held on Satur day morning, the pastor Rev. C P. Wehr officiating. Interment in tbe Gratz Cemetery.

    Willard M. Kissinger, 45, died Tuesday at his home at Loyalton. He was a member of St. Paul's United: Church of Christ, Sacramento and was employed by Bethlehem Steel Corporation. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Millersburg.t Dauphin County Volunteer; Firemen's Association; Pillow Fire Company and Mahantongo Rod and Gun Club.
    Surviving are his widow, Emma; two daughters, Mrs. Carl Reiner of RD Dornsife and Edith, at home; his mother, Mrs., Gertie Kissinger, of Spring Glen; brothers, Leroy and Elwood, both of RD Lykens; sisters, Mrs. Herman Klinger, Mrs. Whalen Wenrich and Mrs. Elwood Lucas, all of Spring Glen; Mrs. Lester Smeltz, of RD Lykens; one grandchild.
    Services will be held Friday afternoon at Berrysburg with Rev. George Henry officiating. Interment will be in Reviewview [Riverview] Memorial Gardens, Halifax.

    The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 10-11 AM at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes, Inc., Elizabethville. Services starting at 11 AM. Burial to follow at U.C.C. Reformed Cemetery in Berrysburg.
