Gloria Ann Miller was born on 13 August 1938, Hegins, Schuylkill County, PA.2,1 She was the daughter of Clervin Lansford Miller and Mary Alice Huntzinger.1 Gloria Ann Miller married Clarence Edward Scheib, son of Lester L. Scheib and Margaret E. Troutman, on 14 August 1954, Delta, MD.3,1 Clarence Edward Scheib filed for divorce from Gloria Ann Miller in May 1956 Schuylkill County, PA; A court-appointed master eventually recommended granting a divorce decree.3,4 She married Samuel Charles Starr circa 1970.1,2,5 Gloria Ann Miller died on 19 June 2009, Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA, at age 70.2

Gloria Ann Starr, age 70, of 650 Alricks Street, Harrisburg, formerly of Hegins, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born on Saturday, August 13, 1938 in Hegins, a daughter of Mary A (Huntzinger) Miller of Hegins and the late Clervin L. Miller.
She retired as a clerical staff worker for the PA Department of Revenue, Harrisburg; she and her late husband had owned and operated the former Starr's Furniture, Valley View, and was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins.
She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Pine Grove Lodge, and was a life long fan of the Philadelphia Phillies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel C. Starr in 2000 and by a sister, Isabel "Chubby" Schwartz.
Surviving in addition to her mother are a son, Scott M. Scheib of Harrisburg; two daughters, Bonnie D. Stoner and her husband Jeffrey of Kingsport, TN and Terrie Ann McKoy and her husband Brett of Hagerstown, MD; nine grandchildren, Candie Gilbert and friend Zach Butler, Daniel Stoner, Amy Stoner, Kyle McKoy, Brieann Francis, Zachary McKoy, J. D. McKoy, Jaiquon McKoy, and Nikolas McKoy; three great grandchildren, Zakarie Butler, Zaneatrius Butler, and Zachary Butler; a brother, Randy C. Miller of Hegins; two sisters, Linda Todd of Curwensville and Mary Alice Unger of Norristown; and her cat, Spencer.
Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Warren Egebo and Pastor Brett D. McKoy officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
