     Nancy Marion Harner was born on 23 November 1932, Valley View, Schuylkill County, PA.1,3 She married Paul I. Schwalm, son of Ira Irvin Schwalm and Mildred Elizabeth Rothermel.1 Nancy Marion Harner died on 27 October 1982, Hershey Medical Center, Dauphin County, PA, at age 49.1

Services for Nancy M. Schwalm, 49, of 1336 W. Maple St., Valley View, who died Wednesday, evening in Hershey Medical Center, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View. Interment will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery. The Rev, Dr. Donald Fishel will officiate. There will be no calling hours Saturday morning. Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Schwalm was born in Valley View, Nov. 23,1932, a daughter of the late Ira and Naomi Updegrave Harner.
She was employed in the cafeteria of Tri-Valley High School before becoming ill.
Mrs. Schwalm was a 1950 graduate of Hegins Township High School. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church and Ladies Bible Class.
Surviving are her husband, Paul; four sons, Scott, Harrisburg, and Dennis, Terry and Jason, all at home; a sister, Bernice, wife of Mark Bowman, Hegins area; two brothers, Bruce, Harner, Millersburg, and Jay Harner, Temple.

     Alma Sarah Coleman is also referred to as Sarah A. Schwalm in some sources.3 She was born on 12 February 1889, Hubley Township, Schuylkill County, PA.3,4,2 She was the daughter of Daniel Alfred Coleman and Ida Salara Koppenhaver.2 Alma Sarah Coleman was baptized on 8 April 1889, St Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.2 She married William Reilly Schwalm, son of Albert Peter Schwalm and Mary Paul, in 1906.1,5,6 Alma Sarah Coleman died on 16 August 1971, Ashland, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 82.7,8

Mrs. S. Alma Schwalm, 82, widow of the late William R. Schwalm of Spring Glen, died unexpectedly Monday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eva Beury of 15 Walnut St., Ashland, where she had resided for the past eight months.
Mrs. Schwalm was born in Hubley Township on Feb. 12, 1889, a daughter of the late Daniel and Ida (Koppenhaver) (Coleman. She was employedLas a cook at the former Hubley Township High School before her retirement. Mrs. Schwalm was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and Sunday School, Spring Glen, and the Daughters of America, Spring Glen.
Her husband died in i969. Three sons also preceded her in death.
Surviving are the following children: Mae, wife of Henry Fry, Orwin; Hilda, wife of Stanley Harner, Valley View; James of Tower City; Elva, wife of Morris Huntzinger, Valley View; Mrs. Eva Beury, Ashland; and Leroy, RD, Mechanicsburg; 20 grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday from the Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View. Rev. Howard J. Wertz will officiate. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sacramento.

Erma Mae Fry, 77, of 347 Dietrich Ave., Orwin, died Thursday morning in her home.
She was born in Sacramento, a daughter of the late William and Alma Coleman Schwalm.
Surviving are her husband, Henry; four daughters, Doris, wife of Theodore Frankenstine, Joliett, Anna Mae, wife of Mark Gongloff, Orwin, Shirley, wife of Robert Hubert, Duryea and Marlene, wife of Joseph Jenkins, Williamstown; three sons, Edward Fry, Jonestown, Marlin Fry, Palmyra and Leroy Schwalm, Carlisle; 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Hilda Harner and Elva Huntzinger, both of Valley View and Eva Beury, Ashland.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from Corl-Dreisigacker Funeral Home Inc., Tower City. The Rev. Jeffrey R. Diller, United Church of Christ, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin.
