Mazie C. Clark, 89, formerly of RR1 .Klingerstown, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 12, 2001, at Pottsville Hospital, where she had been a patient since Nov. 20, 2001. She had been a resident at Tremont , Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tremont, since Sept. 26, 2000.
She was born July 1, 1912, in i- RR1 Klingerstown, a daughter of the late Francis O. and Katie (Hauck) Schadel and stepdaughter of the late Mary M. (Starr) Schadel. She was married to Calvin 7 A. Clark, who preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 1960.
Mrs. Clark was educated in Upper Mahantongo Township schools.
She retired from the Muskin Shoe Factory, Millersburg, in 1974.
Mrs. Clark was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, RR1 Klingerstown, where she was a member of the Sunday school and ladies guild.
She was a member of the Daughters of America, RR1 Klingerstown, and a former member of the Mahantongo Valley Senior Citizens of Pitman.
Mrs. Clark enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidering, traveling and raising flowers.
Surviving are five sons and daughters-in-law, Francis H. and Janet Clark of RR Elizabethville, Willard L. and Marie Clark of Valley View, James W. and Rebecca Clark of RR Elizabethville and Roy L. and Dolores Clark and Dennis C. and Joyce Clark, all of RR1 Klingerstown; three daughters and sons-in-law, Pauline "Polly" and Russell Mace of RR1 Dornsife and Mae and Harvey Neumeister and Joan M. and Ronald Bordner, all of Millersburg; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bessie Bowman of Millersburg and Lillian Wetzel of Middletown; and nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were a daughter, Violet C. Maurer, on April 13, 1990; a grandson, Scott Clark, in 1988; and three stepbrothers, Lawrence, John and Wayne Stiely.
Visitors may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Salem United Church of Christ. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church by the Rev. Mark Rothermel of RR1 Klingerstown; her pastor.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, RR1 Klingerstown.

Maurer and his wife Colleen of Harrisburg and Gina K. Maurer of Harrisburg; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a brother, Derl H. Maurer of New Jersey.
Lawrence was preceded in death by an infant sister, Violet; a sister, Alma M. Shelby; three brothers, Harold J. Maurer, Clair T. Maurer and Marvin C. Maurer; and a special friend of 20 years, Linda S. Janaski.
A viewing was held on April 10 at the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, 1133 Ridge Rd., Klingerstown, and on Wednesday, April 11, from 9-11 a.m. at the Salem Church of Rough and Ready, 11 Church Road, Klingerstown, where the funeral service was to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Rothermel officiating. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Klingerstown.

He worked as a coal miner for the former Herman Bixler Mining Co. He was a coal truck driver for Kenneth Bloch Hauling and Excavating and worked for 27 years at Pine Creek Coal Co.
He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View; Upper Mahantongo Hunting Club, Klingerstown; Erdman Sportsman's Association; and was a former member of the Valley View Fire Company.
Willard enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and playing with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Scott W. Clark; a brother, Francis Clark; a sister, Violet Maurer.
Surviving are his wife, Marie A. Bixler Clark, to whom he was married 52 years; a son, Steve W. Clark and his wife, Kristi, Camp Hill; a daughter, Loriann M. Clark, Valley View; a grandson, Wayne T. He was born on Saturday, April 29, 1939, in Klingerstown, a son of the late Calvin Clark and the late Mazie (Shadle) Clark.
He served in the US Army.
Roy worked at the former Muskin Shoe Factory, Millersburg, and retired as a heavy equipment operator from Pine Creek Coal Company.
He was a member of Salem Church of Rough and Ready.
Roy enjoyed hunting, word puzzles, watching western movies, spending time outdoors, and fixing things. He was an excellent handyman.
His wife Dolores E (Kissinger) Clark passed away in 2018. He was also preceded in death by his parents; by three brothers, Willard Clark, Francis Clark, and Dennis Clark, and two sisters, Violet Maurer and Mae Neumeister.
He is survived by a daughter, Angela M Neugard and her husband Brady of Klingerstown; a son, Brian C Clark and his wife Ashley of Hegins; a granddaughter, Brittany L Neugard of Klingerstown; a grandson, Brockton P Neugard of Klingerstown; two sisters, Joan Bordner of Millersburg and Pauline Mace of Dornsife; a brother, James Clark of Berrysburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Salem Church of Rough and Ready, Rough and Ready, on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Mark E Mantz officiating.

He served in the US Army.

Dennis was born in Rough and Ready, on August 28, 1940, a son of the late Mazie (Shadle) and Calvin Clark.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Joyce (Knorr) Clark they were married June 6, 1970.
Dennis is also survived by a daughter, Michelle, wife of William L. Porter II, of Klingerstown; a son, David Clark, of Pottsville; seven grandchildren; Delayna Porter, Dylan Clark, Noah, William "Trey" III, Olivia Grace, Kingston, and Robinson Porter. two brothers James Clark, Roy Clark wife Dolores; three sisters Pauline Mace and husband Russell, Mae Neumeister, and Joan Bordner and her husband Ronald; two sisters in-law Janet and Marie Clark and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Francis and Willard Clark, a sister, Violet Maurer; two nephews Scott Clark and Randy Mace, and a niece Lisa Straub.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 9:30-11 AM at the Salem Church of Rough and Ready. She was a member of Reigles Bible Fellowship Church, Millersburg and the American Folk Music Association. She enjoyed square dancing, playing bingo, family game night, watching baseball and Penn State Football.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey "Sonny" Neumeister; a sister Violet Maurer; brothers Francis, Willard and Dennis Clark.
Surviving are a daughter, Yvonne "Yonnie" Miller and her husband Brian, Millersburg; a son, Glenn Neumeister and his wife Elaine, Dornsife; two sisters, Pauline Mace, Dornsife and Joan Bordner, Millersburg; two brothers, Roy Clark, Klingerstown and Jim Clark, Berrysburg, four grandchildren; Preston and his wife Bridget Bergey, Alexa and her husband Ivan Zakaszewski, Kyle and his wife Claire Miller and Colby Neumeister. 3 great grandchildren Gage and Gannon Bergey, Jensen Zakaszewski. Russell A. Mace, 84, of Dornsife, passed away on October 24, 2018, at the UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg. He was born in Lykens Twp on February 2, 1934, a son of the late Della and Allen Mace.
Russell was employed as a school bus mechanic and heavy wrecker operator for Marvin Klinger.He served in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hunters Station, Upper Mahantango Hunting Club, life member of the Herndon Fire Company.
Russell is survived by his wife Pauline Mace, son, Terry Mace; brother, Russell Kerstetter; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son, Randy Mace, brothers, Irvin Mace, Mervin Mace, sister, Katherine Romberger, sister, Alverta Peters.
A visitation with family and friends will be held on November 10, 2018 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. emorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 11:00 am at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. Interment will take place in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery at the families convenience.4

Harvey G. Neumeister was born on 4 January 1933, Hegins Township, Schuylkill County, PA.2 He was the son of Harvey T. Neumeister and Ada May Klinger.1 Harvey G. Neumeister married Mae Ellen Clark, daughter of Calvin Alexander Clark and Mazie C. Schadel, on 22 September 1956, Salem (Herb's) Lutheran Church, Rough and Ready, Schuylkill County, PA.3 Harvey G. Neumeister died on 2 August 2009, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA, at age 76.2

MILLERSBURG — Harvey G. “Sonny” Neumeister, 76, of 204 Arch St., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, at Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born Jan. 4, 1933, in Hegins Township, a son of the late Harvey T. and Ada (Klinger) Neumeister. He was married to the former Mae Clark, who survives.
Harvey served in the Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.
He retired from Alvord-Polk Tool Co., Millersburg, and had worked at Kocher Coal and the Muskin Shoe Factory. Harvey was a musician for 70 years and played in numerous bands. He played a mandolin in the Army jazz band, which traveled from company to company.
He was a member of Reigle’s Bible Fellowship, AFMA, CPCA, Gratz Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2385 and Millersburg American Legion Post 326 and attended the annual Deitsch Fersommling.
Harvey was a Little League and Teener League baseball coach and volunteered to provide musical entertainment in local nursing homes.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Elaine of Dornsife; one daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Brian Miller of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Colby Neumesiter, Preston Bergey, Alexa Miller and Kyle Miller; one great-grandson, Gage Bergey; two brothers, Donald of Lykens and the Rev. Palmer of Cincinatis, N.Y; and four sisters, Nancy Koppenhaver of Millersburg, Joan Fisher of Shenandoah, Debra Neumesiter of Danville and Denise Woodruff of Endicott, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Evelyn Neumeister, and three sisters, Teresa Rittinger, Yvone Neumeister and Shirley Neumeister.
A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Reigle’s Bible Fellowship, followed by the funeral at 11 with the Rev. Benjamin Brown officiating.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
