    Theresa Bonadio Carter Fetterolf, 71, of Pottsville, died Wednesday at home after a lengthy illness.
    Born in Platania, Italy, Aug. 29, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Cesare and Raffaello Toricha Bonadio. She was a 1944 graduate of Pottsville High School.
    She was retired from Associated Surgeons Ltd., Drs. J. Modarress & Leon Scicchitano. She also worked for Drs. Norman Wall, Charles Ling and Akbar and Khan, all of Pottsville.
    She was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church, Pottsville, Women's Guild of St. Joseph; Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary; Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, where she was a volunteer; Anthracite Community Concert Association; American Heart Association; past president of Prime Time Senior Club, all of Pottsville; past president of Friedensburg Hose Company Auxiliary, Theresa B. Carter Fetterolf Schuylkill Haven Senior Citizens Club, and Blythe Township Senior Club.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J., and a stepson, Richard J. Fetterolf.
    Surviving are a son, Robert D. Carter, Pittsburgh; two daughters, Elaine Rohrbach, Flamington, N.J., and Janet M. Ryan, Pottsville; a stepson, William Fetterolf, Gratz; three sisters, Mary Butera and Carmela Cimino, both of Pottsville, and Angelina Iskenderian, Williamsburg, Va; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
    The funeral procession will gather at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home Inc., Pottsville. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, Pottsville, by the Rev. Edward B. Connolly. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Hillside, Pottsville.

    Mrs. Ruth Blanche Fetterolf, 42, wife of Richard J. Fetterolf, Main St., Hegins, died Thursday morning in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville. She was admitted Sept. 16.
    A native of Donaldson, Mrs. Fetterolf was the daughter of Roy Hatter and the late Sarah Seiger Hatter. Prior to her illness, she was employed as a sewing machine operator in the garment industry by Farrah and Sons, Tower City. Her husband is employed at Fetterolf Meat Market.
    She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Donaldson.
    Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Richard J., Jr., Williamstown; William, at home; one grandson, William Fetterolf; her father, Roy Hatter, Donaldson; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Ganderton, Folcroft; Mrs. Robert and June Hatter, Long View Farms, Wilmington, Del; half- brothers, Roy Hatter, Jr., Tremont; Michael, Barry and Randall Hatter, Donaldson.
    The Rev. George B. Carvell officiated at the services on Monday afternoon in the Buffington Funeral Horne, Valley View. Interment was made in the Donaldson Community Cemetery.

    William F. Fetterolf, 69, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Hershey Medical Center. Born Tuesday, July 4, 1950 in Hegins, PA, he was the son of the late Richard Fetterolf, Sr. and Blanche (Hatter) Fetterolf. He was married to Nancy L. (Oberholtzer) Fetterolf on July 4, 1992.
    Bill worked as a butcher for most of his life and also enjoyed taxidermy as well as hunting and fishing. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his loving family.
    In addition to his wife of over 27 years, he is survived by a son, Timothy “Fetty” Fetterolf, married to JoEllen, of Spring Glen, PA and two step-sons: Keith Kretzing, married to Erika and Kevin Kretzing, married to Jami, both of Mount Joy. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Andrew, Sophia, Brenna and Brooke as well as Bill’s extended family and caring friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruthan Fetterolf and a brother, Richard Fetterolf, Jr.
    A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Ruhl’s United Methodist Church, 4810 Elizabethtown Road, Manheim, PA 17545, with Reverend Blaine R. Wenger officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1543.

    Karen Ann Fetterolf, age 77, formerly of Hegins, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
    She was born May 21, 1946 in Pottsville, a daughter of the late Joseph and Vergie Ferron.
    Karen was also preceded in death by her late husband Richard Joseph Fetterolf Jr, and a late companion Steve E. Deeter.
    Karen is survived by her loving son, William Robert Fetterolf (Tina) and her two loving daughters Debra Crawford (Steve Bryant) and Gloria Nunemacher (late Lee A. Nunemacher Jr.) Grandsons William Robert Fetterolf Jr, Joshua Michael Harman, (Alyssa), Skylar Bowman, Ryan Reightler (LeAnn) and Jamie Reightler (Katie). Great Grandsons Cameron Harman, Mason and Kayden Fetterolf, Grayson Rummel, Mackenzie, Makelvey, Jackson and Grant Reightler, Chelsea Sherman. Two brothers Joe Ferron (Diane) and the late Dale Buffington (Sara), also many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
    Karen loved spending time with family, and her grand puppy Harley, going to church, reading, crocheting, swimming, playing games, going to Knobels amusement park, the beach and spending time at Tremont Senior Center. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
    Funeral services will be held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc, Valley View, on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 4:00 pm, with Rev. Suzanne Elliott officiating.
    A viewing will be held from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
    Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.
