    HALIFAX - Sonya Lynn (Chubb) Parker, of Market Street, lost her long battle to Pancreatic Cancer on January 27, 2023, peacefully at her residence surrounded by loved ones. She was born on May 9th, 1973 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and was the daughter Robert Chubb (Deceased) and Vickie Klinger-Mace who survives her in Harrisburg.
    She had worked for Walmart, Elizabethville and in the past for the former Susquehanna Lutheran Village in Millersburg and also for Group Home settings in the area, which she absolutely loved working at. She worked there until she was forced to leave due to breaking her neck and nearly severing her spinal cord.
    Sonya was a member of the Halifax VFW, Post 5750 and the Millersburg Gun Club. She enjoyed making and selling crafts, traveling, spending time with her friends and loved ones, and she especially loved taking care of everyone around her. Sonya was the life of the party and lit up any room she would walk into. She was always making sure everyone was happy and had a full belly. She truly would have given you the shirt off of her back if you needed it. She was one of the most generous, kind, loving, selfless and amazingly strong women ever.
    Surviving are her mother and her beloved daughters, Brittnay "Pippi" Mutarelli, Millersburg and Toni Maikranz, Pottsville. Sister, Stacy (John Thomas) Litchfield, West Minster MD; Grandchildren, William and Vivian Crowe; multiple Nieces and a nephew, boyfriend, Michael Middaugh, Halifax, and her beloved pet dog "Peaches".
    She is preceded in death by her father Robert Chubb and her beloved brother, Brian Chubb and a nephew, Codie Chubb.
    A big celebration of life party will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
    Memorial donations to help with funeral costs may be made to Minnnich Funeral.

    Gene was the retired owner of Mace Motors, Williamstown.
    He was of the Methodist Faith. Gene was a member of the Williamstown American Legion, Williamstown VFW and the Loyal Order of Moose.
    He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family.
    In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a daughter, Tammy Mace; son Brian Chubb and a grandson, Cody Chubb.
    Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Vickie J. Klinger Mace; two daughters, Sonya Parker (John) Halifax and Stacy Litchfield (John), Maryland; a son, Scott Romberger; two brothers, Ronald Mace (Sally), Jonestown and Wayne Mace (Ann), Williamstown; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.
    Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 4th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Tower City with Pastor Monica Romberger. Burial will be private in the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.2

    MILLERSBURG- Robert Lee Lenker, age 77, died April 24, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 28, 1946 in Harrisburg, PA the son of [the late] Paul and Lottie(Ender)Lenker.
    He worked with various construction companies over his 40 years as being a heavy equipment operator. He is best known for being the owner and proprietor of Bob's Barbeque Chicken.
    Robert offered transportation to the local Amish community and enjoyed watching sporting events, especially the Boston Red Socks and Washington Commanders.
    He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Brenda (Klinger) Lenker; Son, Anthony (Whitney) Lenker, Halifax and daughter, Connie (William) Cripps, Enola: Grandchildren, Ashlee Strauser, Brad Strauser, Taryn Wherry (Kayla Davis), Jace Harman, Aiden Harman, Dalainy Lenker, and Dakota Lenker; 2 Great Grandchildren, Urban Anderson and Destiny Strauser.
    He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori A. Harman and siblings, Charles, Floyd, Donald, Lloyd, Paul, Clarence and Dorothea Stoneroad.
    There will be a visitation held at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd., Millersburg on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 10-11 AM. Services will start at 11 AM with Pastor Shannon D'Agostino officiating. Following the services, burial will be at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
