    Born in Millersburg, March 8, 1927. he was a son of the late George and Ellen Bordner Yeager.
    He was an Army veteran of World War II.
    He was retired as a machinist repairman from Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot.
    He was a member of St. Christopher Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lykens, Lower Northumberland Sportsmens Association and Ward Foundation. Salisbury, Md., and Ducks Unlimited.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Mary L, Witmer; a son, Randy, Ehzabeihville; three daughters, Donna Miller, Elizabethville, LuAnn Ressler, Gratz, and Dana Klouser, RD Elizabethville; eight grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday from John M. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens. The Rev. Daniel M. Shutters will officiate. Interment will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.

    Gerald was a graduate of the former Wiconisco High School was a Navy Veteran of WWII, was a member of Liberty Hose Company No. 2 of Lykens, social member of Wiconisco Fire Co., Dauphin County Vol. Firemen's Association, Lykens American Legion, Gratz VFW, VFW Service Officer, PIAA Official Basketball Association and an original member of the Lykens Borough Authority. He enjoyed spending time at his camp and with his family and gardening.
    Gerald is survived by a son Brent C. Daniels and his wife Tina, daughters Treasure Keiter and husband Elmer and Joyce Reed and husband George, grandchildren Jennifer, Jeremy, Kylie, Allison and Jacob, two great grandchildren Cassidy and Jack, two step-great grandchildren Damon and Madison, a sister Esther Teter and his companion Sandra Snyder. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Florence M. Witmer Daniels.
    Funeral services will be held Friday February 17, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from Calvary United Methodist Church, 519 Pottsville St., Wiconisco, Pa. with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Burial will be in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco, Pa. There will be a viewing from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.

    Brent C. Daniels, 65, of Lykens, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at his home after a valiant fight against cancer.
    Born in Harrisburg, February 3, 1956 a son of the late Gerald and Florence Witmer Daniels. Brent was a 1974 graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School. He continued his education and graduated as a Registered Nurse from Harrisburg Area Community College.
    He was employed as a machinist at Reiff and Nestor Co., Lykens. He had also worked as a registered nurse with the former Kepler Nursing Home, Elizabethville.
    Brent was a member of St. Christopher's Lutheran Church, Lykens, Knights of Columbus, Lykens, Liberty Hose Company #2, Lykens and the Gratz V.F.W.
    Brent lived his life to the fullest. He could often be found cheering on his Pittsburgh Steelers from his man cave that he built, on his tractor cutting the grass, fishing and doing crossword puzzles. He lived for summer days at his pool.
    He was the friend that you could always depend on, the one that was there to lend a hand no matter what the situation and if something needed fixed, he was the one to call. His family and friends were the center of his world.
    Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Tina White Daniels, three children; Jennifer Daniels and her wife Tanya Daniels, Lykens, Allison Daniels and her partner Alyssa Schadle, Tower City and Jacob Daniels and his wife Kim Weber Daniels, St. Augustine, Florida; a grandson, Brayden Daniels, two sisters; Treasure Keiter and her husband Elmer, Halifax and Joyce Reed and her husband George, Wiconisco; mother-in-law, Joan Wolfe, Lykens; sister-in-law, Kathy Gibson, Lykens. Nieces and nephews; Bobby Koppenhaver, Jeremy and Kylie Keiter and Ava Gibson. Many dear friends.
    Memorial services for Brent will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City. Visitation will be from 1-2 at the chapel. Immediately following the services a Celebration of Brent's life will be held at the Wiconisco Fire Company where there will be a luncheon, fellowship and cheering on the Steelers.

    Survivors include daughter, Jody Long Troutman (Robert) , Halifax; Sons, Jeffrey S. Long (Nancy), Halifax and Cam R. Cordy (Deena) Lykens; Grandchildren, Carrie Troutman, Kutztown, Jamison Troutman, Florida, Dustin Long (Kristen), Hershey and Edria Cordy, Lykens; One great grandson, Carson Long, Hershey.
    There will be a life celebration at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 22 at the Broad Mountain Winery at 596 Harman Road, Halifax, PA 17032. Her final place of rest will be in Bermuda.
    Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
