    Mary L Yeager
    December 5, 1929 - October 14, 2022
MILLERSBURG - Mary Louise Yeager, age 92, passed away at Polk Personal Care Center on Friday, October 14, 2022.
Mary was born December 5, 1929 and raised in the Lykens Valley, the eldest of eleven children born to the late Harry Ephraim and Mabel Ruth (Knorr) Witmer.
Mary was the wife of the late George "Juney" Yeager of Millersburg and they made Lykens their home.
Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and took extreme pride in her home in Lykens, and much to the chagrin of her family, allowed no one, but herself, to tend to her yard work and shovel her snow well into her eighties. She was a perfectionist, who took pride in doing it "right," as only she could do. She enjoyed bargain shopping, traveling, reading, bingo, and collecting Longaberger Baskets. However, her greatest love was seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren perform and participate in any type of sport or activity.
Mary is survived by her four children: Randy Yeager (Cindy) of Elizabethville, Donna Yeager of Las Vegas, NV, LuAnn Ressler of Elizabethville, and Dana Klouser (Chris) of Berrysburg; eight grandchildren: Heather Bruner (Bryan), Kristen Huff, Megan Miller-Plunkett, Jeffery Ressler, Jr. (Paula), Jarrod Kreiser (Kim), Brooke Machamer (Mark), Desiree DeSoto (Matthew), and Collin Klouser (Taylor); fourteen great grandchildren: Landen and Reece Bruner, Gavin Ferguson, Macy and Emercyn Plunkett, Tyler Ressler, Samantha and Matthew Buffington, Maura Kreiser, Ashley Smith, Caroline, Grady, and Stella DeSoto, and Cooper Klouser; and one great-great grandchild, Aurora Shade. In addition, she is survived by brothers Harry Witmer (North Carolina) and Terry Witmer (Lykens), her loving family at Polk Personal Care Center in Millersburg, PA (including administrators, staff, and residents), and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Juney (1993), her grandson, Mason Miller (1990), son-in-law, Jeffery Ressler, Sr. (2016) and brothers: Robert (1986), Donald (1987), and Ken (1999); and sisters: Joyce Witmer (1989), Florence Daniels (2000), Betty Buggy (2009), Kathy Margetanski (2014), and Shirley Cordy (2017).
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 24th at St. John's Lutheran "the Hill Church" Berrysburg PA from 10-11:00 AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax, PA
Donations in Memory of Mary can be made to support the activities of the residents at Polk Personal Care Center by sending donations to POLK PERSONAL CARE CENTER, 301 North Third Street, Millersburg PA 17061 or Memorial Contributions can be made to her church, St. John's Lutheran Church, PO Box 270, Berrysburg, PA 17005
