    Mr. Johnson, formerly of Bridgeville, served as a ruling elder at the Bethany Presbyterian Church of Bridgeville and at the time of his death was a member of the Lakeland United Methodist Church of St. Petersburg, Fla.
    He is survived by his wife, Sallie, a son, Robert B. of Hermitage, Tenn., and a grandson.

    Charles H. Klinger of 1 Cherry Street, Pine Grove died on Friday morning, October 22, at his home. He was 90 years old.
    Mr. Klinger was the head of the Charles H. Klinger Contracting Corporation in Pine Grove. He was born in Pine Grove Township, a son of the late Aaron and Catherine (Brensinger) Klinger.
    Mr. Klinger was a member of Jacob's Lutheran Church in Outwood. His wife, the former Mary Schneck, died in 1952.
    Surviving are two daughters, Hannah Klinger and Mrs. Eva Miller, both of Pine Grove; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Aungst of Bridgeville, Pa., and Mrs. Alice Neal of Pine Grove. Mr. Klinger had three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
    Rev. Clark Kuntz was in charge of the services held on Monday afternoon from the Snyder Funeral Home in Pine Grove. Mr. Klinger was buried in Jacob's Church Cemetery.

    Born on January 30, 1926, in Donaldson, she was the daughter of the late George Wellington and Florence Mae Harner Hoke.
    Ruby graduated from the Tremont High School and attended Penn State Business School. She was a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Cressona Chapter No. 367 and a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove. She was a bank Teller at the former Lebanon Valley National Bank. In retirement, she enjoyed tending her flower gardens and spending time with her family and friends.
    Preceding her in death were her husband, Jay Thissen, her son, Charles Miller, two baby boys; three brothers, Marvin Hoke, George Hoke, Jr., Wilber Hoke, and three sisters, Vergie Hoke, Phyllis Hoke and Mary Bretzius.
    Surviving are a Daughter, Christine Miller, two grandchildren, and a sister, Joanne Clark.
    Services will be held on Thursday, March 1, at 10:30 A.M. in the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, with Dr. Richard W. Schoenleber officiating. There will be a viewing on Thursday, from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.
    The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, donations be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 312 S. Tulpehocken Street, Pine Grove, Pa. 17963, in her memory.

    Roseanna E. Ness, 77, of Hemlock Lane, Pine Grove, passed away Wednesday at home.
    Born in Pine Grove, April 17, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Alice Klinger Neal.
    She was a graduate of Pine Grove High School and Kutztown State Teachers College.
    She was a school teacher in the art department in Myerstown, and then Auburn, New York. Following that, she was an editor for Yoh Company, which made Army manuals.
    She returned to the area and taught in the Blue Mountain School District, and then the Pine Grove School District.
    She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Neal Ness, and a daughter, Deborah Ann Howell.
    Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Edward W; a grandson, Keeton Edward Howell, Pine Grove; two sisters, Betty Doran, Pine Grove, and Lorraine Pace; Wyoming, Pa.
    Services will be held at the convenience of the family. H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove, is in charge of arrangements.
