    Paul Eugene Klinger, age 93, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Paul was born on Monday, December 31, 1928, in Camp Hill to the late Franklin Anthony Klinger and Sadie Edna (Rothermel) Klinger. Paul was the widower of Helen Grace (Vogelsong) Klinger, whom he married on February 14, 1981, and who died on August 29, 1999. In addition to his parents and wife, Paul is preceded in death by his grandson, Paul Josiah Klinger; his two brothers: Norman Elmer Klinger and Robert Franklin Klinger; and his four sisters: Myrle Eileen Heckart, Martha Viola Shade, Fay M. Rittner and Esther R. Ward.
    Paul’s survivors include his four children: Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Williams of Carrollton, GA; Ronald “Ron” Paul Klinger and wife, Cherie, of Harrisburg; Debra “Deb” Kay Kernoschak and husband, James “Jake”, of Landisburg; Dennis “Den” Eugene Klinger and wife, Patricia “Pat”; his three stepchildren: Lenny Zook and wife, Mary, of Mechanicsburg; Steve Zook and wife, Linda, of Mechanicsburg; Sandy Davenport and husband, Tony, of Mechanicsburg; his seven grandchildren: Christina Hodgson, Dana Graves, Kelsey Klinger, Zachary Klinger, Jennifer Kyzer, Aimee Davis and Stephen Klinger; his six great-grandchildren; and his great-great-grandchild.
    Paul’s family will be remembering his life privately. Interment in Mechanicsburg Cemetery will be at the family’s convenience. Cremation was private.

    Dennis E. Klinger, a 19-year-old Mechanicsburg youth, was arrested June 9, 1976 and charged with murdering his mother, Hazel A. Pulaski, on May 28, 1976 off Lamb's Gap Road in Perry County. Costopolous defended Klinger in an eight-day trial in October 1976 in New Bloomfield. The defense cast suspicion on the dead woman's husband, Robert J. Pulaski. The jury acquitted Klinger after less than two hours of deliberation.

    HAD BROKEN BACK SINCE AUGUST
    John H. Henninger, age 43 years, died at his home in Millersburg at 10.15 o'clock Tuesday evening.
    Mr. Henninger suffered a broken back while razing a building on his farm in Upper Paxton Township last August. He had been a patient in the Keystone Hospital, Harrisburg until February of this year.
    He was born in Upper Paxton Township and was a son of the late Josiah Y. Henninger, and was a member of the Hebron United Brethren Church, Millersburg.
    Survivors are his wife, three daughter's, Winifred, Ethel and Evelyn, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. W. C. Hoy, Mrs. Charles Schaffer, Mrs. Charles Deibler, Mrs. R. W. Stakley, Mrs. William Rothermel, all of Millersburg; Mrs. Edgar Matter, Millersburg R. D. Nevin and Joseph Henninger, Millersburg R. D. Harvey Henninger, Greensburg; Edward and Isaac Henninger of Sharon, a half-brother and half sister, Lawrence of Detroit, Michigan and Mrs. P. G. Brown of Millersburg.
    Services will be held from the residence at two o'clock Sunday after noon and at 2 :30 o'clock in the Killinger Reformed Church. Rev. Stanley Baker, pastor of the Killinger Reformed Church, and Rev. M. V. Fridinger, United Brethren pastor of Millersburg will officiate. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.

    Ethel L. Knaub, 90, of Camp Hill, formerly of Dauphin and Millersburg, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Golden Living Center, Camp Hill.
    Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Brown; two grandsons, Kevin (Terri) Brown and Kraig (Teressa) Brown; five great grandchildren, Robert Brown, Tyler Brown, Jessica Brown, Allison Brown and Kyle Brown; as well as two great, great grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Zimmerman-Auer Funeral Home, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg. Interement will follow at David's Community Bible Church Cemetery, Millersburg.
    Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour of services.
