    He was retired from Valley View Enterprises in Valley View, president of Spring Glen Red Men's Lodge and a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
    Surviving are his wife, Romie Kimmel Koppenhaver; a son, Kevin of Newport News, Va; two daughters, Nancy and Rita, both at home; and a brother, Henry of Sunbury.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in his church. Burial will be in St. Mark United Methodist Cemetery.
    There will be no viewing or visitation.

    Romie Oneida Koppenhaver, 99, passed away on Sept. 27, 2014, in Albuquerque N.M.
    She was born on Sept. 3, 1915, in Sacramento, Pa., to the late George and Emma Kimmel.
    Romie lived for the last seven years in Albuquerque, N.M., but lived the majority of her life in Spring Glen, where she attended St. Mark's United Methodist Church.
    Romie was a wonderful woman who loved her family and her God. Her greatest joy was her two grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Koppenhaver, to whom she was married for 56 years. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Howard, Arlen and Daniel Kimmel; a sister, Anna; and an infant child.
    Romie is survived by two daughters, Nancy and Rita; a son, Kevin; a grandson, Derek; and a granddaughter, Tiana.
    Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Mark's Cemetery, Spring Glen, with the Rev. William Danis officiating. Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.

    Henry C. Koppenhaver, 71, of RR1 Sunbury, died Monday at Lewisburg Evangelical Community Hospital.
    Born in Spring Glen, May 1, 1928, he was a son of the late Clinton and Tessie Schwalm Koppenhaver. He was a 1946 graduate of Hubley Township High School.
    He was employed by Muskin Shoe Factory and Regal Shirt Factory, both in Millersburg. He owned and operated his own turkey business in Fearnot. He drove a truck for Stehr Brothers Feed Mill, Pitman, and Spread Eagle, Klingertown. He owned and operated Koppy's Department Store, Sacramento, and worked at Hoovers Department Store, Sunbury. He also drove a truck for Mary Maclntosch, Sunbury, retiring in 1989.
    He was of the United Methodist faith.
    He was a member of American Hose Company, Sunbury, Lykens Valley Camp 4 and the was a former fire chief in Sacramento.
    He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ivan and Elwood.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Karen D. Comfort, whom he married on Nov. 19, 1974; a son, Capt. Kevin, Albuqerque, N.M; a daughter, Roxann Zerbe, Sunbury; three grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday from V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, Selinsgrove. The Rev. Daniel L. Busch will officiate. Interment will be in United Lutheran Church Cemetery, RR4 Sunbury.

    Mrs. Hattie P. Mauser, 65, of Hegins. R. D. 1, Feamot. died Monday at Greenview Nursing Home, Orwigsburg, R. D. Born at Hegins, R. D. 1, November 6, 1896, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Catherine Saltzer Schwalm.
    Mrs. Mauser was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and Sunday School, Fearnot, and a member of Fearnot Ladies Aid Class.

    William Howard Mausser a veteran of World War I died at his home in Fearnot on Thursday afternoon after a lingering illness.
    Born on April 7, 1893. a son of William and Ellen Troutman Mausser, and was a member of the United Brethren church, Fearnot. He was a former miner and farmer and was a member of the American Legion Post, Valley View.
    He is survived by his wife Hattie, and three sisters, Mrs. Morris Ressler. Klingerstown; Mrs. Maude Carl, Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Rufus Carl, Sacramento.
    Funeral from his late home on Sunday atfernoon with further services in the United Brethren church. Burial in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. H. M. Metnzer will conduct the services. H. E Miller, Valley View is the funeral director.
