Her mother was only 15 years old, a resident of Pitman. The certificate labels her birth as "not legitimate."5,3 She was the daughter of William Martin and Mabel Minnie Wolfgang.1,3 Helen is listed as the daughter of William W. She was educated in the Fetterolf 's School, RR1 Klingerstown, enjoyed quilting and crocheting and retired after working at the former shirt factory in Gratz.
She was a member of the Tremont Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer "Buzz" Reinoehl, on Oct. 31, 1985; two great-grandsons, Nathan Stehr and David Klinger; six brothers, Jay, Ray, Eugene, Guy, Leo and Clair Erdman.
Surviving are a son, Robert, husband of Delores, Klingerstown; a daughter, Jeanette Zimmerman, wife of Lee, Klingerstown; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Tillie Rockwell, Ashland, and Lila Derck, RR1 Herndon; a brother, Kenneth Erdman, Valley View; and nieces and nephews.

Born at West Cameron, July 14, 1931, he was a son of the late John and Rosie (Crawford) Derck. He was married to Lila P. Erdman in 1955.
Mr. Derck had owned and operated Derck's Auto Wrecker Service, Herndon RD2, prior to his illness. He was educated in the West Cameron schools, and was of the Protestant faith. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post 945 of Wormleysburg, Herndon Fire Company, Hickory Corners Fire Company and the American Association of Retired Persons. He also served as a governor of the Lower Northumberland County Motor Club, Dalmatia.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Merlin John of Herndon RD2; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Erdman of Hegins RD; and a brother, Thomas of Shamokin.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown RD1, by the Rev. Ronald L. Murphy, of the Augustaville Wesleyan Church. Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.

He was formerly employed by the Dayton Superior Co., Tremont. He was a member of the United Steel Workers Union. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Dr. Kenneth L. Erdman and his wife, Angela, Mifflintown; a daughter, Kelly A. Deeter and her husband, Richard, of Hegins; two granddaugthers, Hannah and Emily Erdman, Mifflintown.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View. Funeral arrangements are by Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.

Kenneth L. Erdman, 62, of Hegins, went to be with the angels on Friday evening in Lewistown Hospital.
Born in Valley View, Aug. 12, 1948, he was a son of the late Ray and Ethel Derck Erdman.
He married the former Virginia L. Lebo on June 6, 1970.
He graduated from Tri-Valley High School in 1966 and attended the Electronics Institute, Harrisburg.
