Karen A. Bush, 30, of RD2 Hegins, died Monday at Polyclinic Medical Center. Harrisburg.
She was born in Orwin, a daughter of George and Grace Lucas Madenford, Keffers. She was last employed at Bestok Underwear Co., Tower City.
Mrs. Bush was a member of the Tremont congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Surviving in addition to her parents, are her husband, James M; three daughters, Teresa, Krystie and Shelly, all at home; a brother, Larry Maden-ford, a sister, Mrs. Carrie Huth, her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Verna Lucas, and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mamie Madenford, all of Keffers.
Services will be held Thursday morning from W. E. Minnig Funeral Home, Tremont, with interment in Friedensburg Cemetery.

George Robert Madenford, 78, of 171 Main St., Joliett, died Wednesday at his home.
He was a Navy veteran of World Warn.
He was a retired self-employed coal miner.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Bush; a brother, Francis Madenford; a sister, Mardelle Renninger.
Surviving are his wife, Grace M. Lucas Madenford, to whom he was married 56 years; a son, Larry R. Madenford; a daughter, Connie M. Walters, both of Joliett; two brothers, Gerald Madenford, Joliett, and Charles Madenford Jr., Tower City; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Born Jan. 23, 1957, in Ash- land, he was a son of the late Marlin and Matilda (Tillie) Erdman Rockwell. He was a member of Zion’s Reformed UCC, Ashland. He worked for many years for Harmony Coal Co., Mount Carmel, as a miner until retirement.
Surviving are four sisters, two brothers, Marlin Rockwell Jr., Trevorton, David Rockwell, Girardville, Janet Powell, Yulee, Fla., Eda Campbell, Trevorton, Carol Wilson, Ashland, and Louise Horan, Ashland; his estranged wife, Esther Rockwell, Pottsville; daughter, Kristen Evans, Girardville; stepdaughter, Brenda Shadle; stepson, Derek Davidson; grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion’s Reformed UCC, Ashland. The Rev. E. Dean Luther will officiate. Interment will be in Brock Cemetery, Ashland.
