Irene D. Maurer, 83, of Dalmatia, passed away on May 12, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 14, 1932, in Dalmatia, a daughter of the late Julia and Charles Heckert.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and traveling with her husband.
Irene is survived by her husband Clarence "Jack" Maurer; two sons, Steve Maurer, of Dalmatia, Larry Young, of Louisianan; four daughters, Barbara Collier, of Treverton, Jane Wolfgang, of Muncy, Susan Richmond, of Sunbury, Gail Kieffer, of Dornsife; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandson in 2004.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, followed by the funeral ceremony at 11 a.m. at the Zion Stone Valley Church, Dalmatia, with the Rev. Curtis Zemencik and Pastor Jim Tayler officiating.
Interment will take place in the Stone Valley Cemetery, Dalmatia.

Susan was employed as a bus driver for USTA and last by Hope Enterprises.
She was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church, Sunbury.
Susan enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her cat.
She is survived by one son, Christopher Reid and his fiancee, Brandy, of Sunbury; one stepson, Jimmy Richmond and his wife, Cindy, of Selinsgrove; three grandchildren, Caleb, Christopher Jr., and Jordan; two stepgrandchildren, Benjamin and Bradley; one brother, Steve Maurer, of Hickory Corners; and three sisters, Barbara Collier, of Trevorton, Gail Kieffer, of Dornsife and Jane Wolfgang, of Muncy.
Friends will be received from 3 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by a memorial service at 4.

Lester R. "Les" Maurer, 80, of RR 1, Dalmatia, died Tuesday, November 14, 2006 while hunting near Buena Vista in Virginia.
Born in Klingerstown on January 1, 1926, he was a son of the late Clarence C. and Beulah A. (Schwalm) Maurer Heim and step son of the late Harlen Heim.
He was a retired employee of Bethlehem Steel in Steelton, retiring in 1984.
He was educated in the Klingerstown area schools. He was a Veteran of the Korean War.
His hobbies included rifle, archery, and fox hunting, fishing, farming and drawing. He was faithful in visiting people in nursing homes. His greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was a member of the St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Malta, where he served as an Elder and Consistory member. He was a member of the Dalmatia Fire Company, the V.F.W., the Erdman Sportsman Association and the Fiddler's Run Sportsman Association, RR 1, Herndon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clover (Bordner) Maurer on August 22, 1998; a sister, June Maurer in 1986; a brother, Raymond Heim in 1995; and an infant brother.
Surviving are three children, two daughters, and a son-in-law, Elaine and Douglas Moran of Camp Hill, and Debra Blazer of Hegins; one son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Cindy Maurer of RR 1, Dalmatia; six grandchildren, Jill, wife of Ryan Davis, Joni Stoneroad, Benjamin Blazer, Kali, Kelli, and Kira Maurer; two brothers, Clarence "Jack" Maurer of RR 1, Dalmatia and Ernest Heim of RR 1, Dornsife; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, 1133 Ridge Road, Klingerstown, and Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the St. Luke's UCC Church at Malta, where the funeral will follow at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Ellen Clement officiating. Burial in St. Luke's Cemetery, Malta.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the St. Luke's UCC Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 10, Dalmatia, PA 17017.

She was a member of New Life EC Church, Herndon. Sandra liked gardening, flowers, quilting, music, bingo and she supported Turning Point Ministries.
Sandra is survived by her son, Glen (Deborah) Heim; daughter, Linda (Gary) Lesher; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cheryl Martz, Kathy Styer. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Heim, and brother, George Blair, III.

Janice G. Henly, 78, formerly of Ephrata, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Hospice of Lancaster County, Mount Joy.
She was born in Hegins Twp., Schuylkill County, to the late Elvin J. and Mabel M. (Deitrich) Williamson and was the wife of the late Barton F. Henly, who passed away on January 3, 2000.
Janice was a member of Zion's Reformed United Church of Christ, Ephrata, and was a past member of the Eastern Star Chapter 406. She loved bingo, cooking, baking, summers in Ocean City, NJ and most importantly spending time with her children and grandchildren. During her working years, she was a cafeteria worker for Ephrata School District at Clay Elementary until her retirement in 1989.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Susan I., wife of Terry W. Reber of Akron, Sara A., wife of Keith B. Allen of Ephrata; 2 grandsons, Chad D. Allen of Germantown, MD, Shane B. Allen of Ephrata; a brother, James C. Williamson; and a nephew, James A. Williamson, both of Vienna, VA.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, from 9 to 10 a.m., at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Avenue, Ephrata. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. John C. Miller officiating. Interment will take place in the Mellingers Lutheran Cemetery.

Barton F. Henly, 69, of 833 Martin Ave., Ephrata, was pronounced dead Monday afternoon in the emergency room of Ephrata Community Hospital after being stricken ill at home. He had been under the care of a physician.
Henly was employed as a truck salesman for Keystone Peterbilt for 23 years, retiring in 1988. He previously had been a self-employed farmer and cattle hauler in Clay Township from 1950 to 1964.
He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Lincoln, Ephrata, where he had been a former council member.
He was a member of Ephrata Lodge 665, Free and Accepted Masons, Reading Consistory and Rajah Temple. He was married to Janice G. Williamson Henly for 49 years on Dec. 16.
Born in Clay Township, he was the son of the late Barton Z. and Amanda Frederick Henly.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Susan I., married to Terry W. Reber of Akron, and Sara A., married to Keith B. Allen of Ephrata; and two grandsons.

     James Cletus Williamson was born on 12 July 1938, Valley View, Schuylkill County, PA.3 He was the son of Elvin Jonas Williamson and Mabel Mildred Dietrich.1 James served in the Marine Corps from 1959 to 1963.4 James Cletus Williamson married Isabel Mary MacIver, daughter of Murdo MacIver and Jessie Campbell, on 8 September 1962.1,5 James Cletus Williamson died on 3 October 2018, Vienna, VA, at age 80.6

James C. Williamson passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 3, 2018. Born on July 12th, 1938 in Hegins Township, Pa. He grew up in Ephrata, Pa located in Lancaster county. While attending Ephrata high school, he was an all-county 8 time letterman in sports. After graduating high school in 1956, He attended Albright College in Reading, Pa on football and baseball scholarship where he lettered as a freshman in football. After a short career at Albright College, he decided to enlist in the United States Marine Corps in 1959 where he served honorably until 1963.
After serving his country, he fell into the optical field where he became a licensed optician. He learned the business from the ground up and eventually owned and operated Tyson’s Professional Opticians. He retired in the mid 1990’s.
He is survived by his son James A. Williamson (Paige), grandson Tyce J. Williamson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by the love of his life, Isabel Mary (MacIver), parents Elvin and Mabel Williamson and his sister, Janice Henly.
Relatives and friends are invited to James' Life Celebration at Money and King Funeral Home,
171 West Maple Avenue, Vienna, VA on Friday October 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
