    HARRISBURG - Kay M. Bechtel, age 82, of Jessamy Court, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
    She was born April 1, 1939 in Lykens, PA the daughter of the late John and Ann (Helt) Dreisigacker.
    She had worked as a PA State Courthouse stenographer and was a retired secretary for the Multi Tool Supply, Inc., a business established by her husband.
    Kay married the love of her life and husband, Glenn over 62 years ago. They enjoyed dancing the jitterbug and 50's dance steps and had lived in NJ for over 30 years before moving back to PA. Kay also enjoyed watching her granddaughter play softball, traveling with friends, swimming and gardening.
    She is survived by her husband and two children, Kelly A. Bechtel, Morris Plains, NJ and Todd S. Bechtel, Harrisburg and granddaughter, Nicole A. Bechtel, University of South FL, Tampa.
    There will be a graveside funeral held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11 AM.

    TOWER CITY - Lester L. "Buddy" Adams, 72, of 711 E. Grand Avenue, died Wednes - day at the Hershey Medical Center.
    Born in Orwin, April 26, 1935, he was a son of the late Earl and Ida Kohr Adams.
    He was a retired carpenter after 26 years with Local Union 287.
    Buddy was an active member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Reinerton, where he served on the church council for 26 years, and also served on the Property Committee., He also volunteered his time plowing snow for the church for many years. He was a member of the Orwin Gun Club, Williams Valley Senior Citizens and the Orwin Fire Company, where he served with the fire police for 47 years.
    Buddy was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and gardening. He was an award winning trap shooter. He was looking forward to the birth of his first great-grandchild due next month.
    Surviving are his wife, Carolyn M. Weaver Adams, to whom he was married 53 years; 1 son, Lester, Jr. "Buddy" and his wife, Yvonne of Tower City; 1 daughter, Susie M. Wharton and her husband, John of Delaware; 4 grandchildren, Jason and his wife, Hollie Adams, Brent Adams, Tiffany and Ryan Savidge; 2 sisters, Dolly Adams of Tower City and Cardy Shutt of Orwin; nieces and nephews.
    Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m., from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc., with Rev. Arthur Sonnenberg. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Muir. Viewing will be Friday from 6-8 p.m., and Saturday from 10-11 a.m., at the chapel.

    Carolyn M. Adams, 83, of Tower City, passed away Thursday, September 19th.
    Born in Muir, March 4, 1936, a daughter of the late Arthur and Anna Bixler Weaver.
    Carolyn was a graduate of the former Porter Tower High School.
    She was a retired seamstress from the garment industry.
    She was an active member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed knitting, quilting and baking for the church. She would lend a hand wherever needed. She was a member of the Orwin Fire Company Auxiliary and the Williams Valley Senior Citizens.
    Carolyn's entire life revolved around her family, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She especially enjoyed cooking for her family for all the holidays.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester "Buddy" Adams, Sr., 2007; a brother, Paul Weaver and a sister, Karen Davis.
    She is survived by her two children, Lester "Buddy" Adams, Jr., and his wife Yvonne, Tower City and Susie M. Wharton and her husband John, Delaware; a sister, Marie Herman and her husband Clarence, a brother, Chris Weaver and his wife Annette, both of Tower City; four grandchildren; Jason Adams and his wife Holly, Brent Adams and his wife Marie, Tiffany Savidge and Ryan Savidge and his wife Emily, five great grandchildren; Peyton, Hadley, Aspen, Bo and Jacob.
    Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 24th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City with Pastor Laura Csellak. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Muir. Viewing will be Monday evening from 6-9 pm and also Tuesday from 10-11 am.
