  HARRISBURG- Glenn R. Bechtel, age 83, of Jessamy Court, died December 17, 2021, at the UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.
  He was born on September 1, 1938 in Harrisburg, the son of [the late] Raymond Bechtel and Alma (Troutman) Bechtel.
  Glenn was the widower of Kay (Dreisigacker) Bechtel who passed May 1, 2021.
  He was the owner / operator of a business that provided sales and distribution of tool cutting parts and equipment.
  He was a US Army Veteran.
  Glenn was Lutheran reformed in faith. His hobby was his work and he enjoyed it immensely. He was a history buff ,and his studies of WWII with books and documentaries enticed Glenn and Kay to travel to Europe to fulfill the need to learn more.
  He is survived by his two children, Daughter, Kelly A. Bechtel, Morris Plains, NJ and son, Todd S. Bechtel, Harrisburg; Granddaughter, Nicole A. Bechtel, George Mason University, VA; Brother, Terry (Barbara) Bechtel, Chantilly , VA and a sister, Beverly Esterline, Lykens.
  There will be a graveside funeral held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 11:30 AM.
