Ralph Lahr, 64, Of Dalmatia
Ralph M. Lahr, 64, of Dalmatia, died at 6:15 a.m. today at Sunbury Community Hospital, where he had been a patient since Tuesday. Mr. Lahr had been in ill health since last November, and death was due to complications.
He was born July 23, 1904, at Dalmatia, son of the late Jacob and Catherine Downy Lahr.
He was married Feb. 21, 1925, to the former Anna L. Klinger, of Dalmatia, by the Rev. Leo D. Horn, pastor of Uniontown Charge, Reformed Church.
Mr. Lahr was employed as a tool grinder for the Brubaker Tool Co., Millersburg, since the early 1940s.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Kermit R. Lahr, of Middletown; a daughter, Mrs. Hilda I. Yerger, of Middletown; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. John Zerbe, of Dalmatia RD; two Jacob I. Lahr, of Harrisburg, and H. Franklin Lahr, of Dalmatia RD. and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday from the Edwin J. Hoover funeral home. Dalmatia. The Rev. Arthur W. Roberts, pastor of the Uniontown Charge, United Church of Christ, will officiate, and burial will be made in Dalmatia Union Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Hilda Irene Yerger, 83, of Interfaith Apartments, Middletown, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in the Hershey Medical Center.
She was born on July 30, 1927 in Dalmatia, PA and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Anna Klinger Lahr.
Hilda was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Middletown. She was a seamstress for the former RoughWear of Middletown and retired from Orwego of Mechanicsburg.
She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, sewing and music. Her greatest joy was her family, grandchildren and great-grandson.
She is survived by her son, Donald and wife Barbara Yerger of Mechanicsburg; daughter, Rev. Cindy Brommer and husband John of Middletown; sister-in-law, June Lahr of Middletown; grandchildren, Michael Brommer, Philip Yerger and companion Helga Schuller, Andrew and wife Sarah Yerger; great-grandson, Wyatt Yerger; nephew, Joe and wife Jackie Lahr.
Memorial services and inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.

Homer J. Yerger, 76, formerly of Avoca, died Sunday.
He was born in Herndon on Nov. 12, 1928, son of the late Jordan E. and Clara Thomas Yerger.
He was preceded in death his twin brother, Mark; brothers, Harry, Lee and Guy.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, the former Charlotte Arnold; son, Donald Yerger, Mechanicsburg; daughter, Cindy Brommer, Middletown; stepson, Kevin Zives, Moosic; sisters, Catherine Shaffer and Pauline Willard, both of don; grandsons, Philip and drew Yerger and Michael Brommer.
The funeral will be held day at 11 from Thomas P. ney Funeral Home, 517 N. Main St., Old Forge.
Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.

HARRISBURG - Kermit" R. Lahr, 66, of Lower Swatara Township died Friday, Oct. 16, 1992, at Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired controller for Hamilton Health Center.
Mr. Lahr was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Middletown; Herndon Lodge 702 F&AM; Harrisburg Consistory; Herndon American Legion Post 504; and Fraternal Order of Police, Steelton lodge.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, June J. Schreffler; a son, Joseph K. of Harrisburg; a sister, Hilda I. Yerger of Middletown; two grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew.

June J. Lahr, 83, of Elizabethtown, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown.
She was born June 22, 1932 in Dornsife, PA and was the loving daughter of the late Harry Lee and Beulah "Moyer" Schreffler.
June was a member of the St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Middletown.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Astro Chapter 380 and was a former member of the Harrisburg Elks Lodge #12 and the Red Hats.
In addition to her husband Kermit R. Lahr, June is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Mark who died at the young age of 6.
She is survived by her son, Joseph K. Lahr and his wife Jacalyn of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Shawn Funk and his wife Holly of Elizabethtown and Brian Funk and his wife Ann-Marie (Bixler) of Overland Park KS; four great grandchildren, Brendan, Lauren, Dannella Funk and Tori Bressler; a niece, Rev. Cindy Brommer and her husband John and son Michael of Middletown; and a nephew, Donald Yerger and his wife Barbara of Mechanicsburg and their sons Phillip and Andrew Yerger and their families.
A tribute to June's life will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 12:00 PM at the Matinchek & Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., with the Rev. Dr. J. Richard Eckert officiating. There will be a visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be at the Middletown Cemetery immediately following the Tribute.
