    He was an employee of M.I. Plastics of Millersburg and a 1995 graduate of Line Mountain High School.
    Surviving are his mother, Barbara A. Novinger of Halifax; his father and stepmother, John F. and Jodee Diakow of Yoe; three sisters, Rachel A. Glosek of Trevorton and Gabrielle E. and Elizabeth L. Diakow, both of Yoe; his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Betty Lebo of Loyalton; his paternal grandmother, Martha P. Diakow of Millersburg; and his maternal great-grandmother, Effie Row of Loyalton.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Hoover Funeral Home, Elizabethville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
    There will be no viewing or visitation.

  • In the 1930 Census, Homer's wife Katie was listed as head of a household on Congress Street in Millersburg, Dauphin County, that included 7 of Homer and Katie's 8 children -- all except James. The Census lists a "Homer Klinger," age 49 as an inmate at the Pennsylvania State Lunatic Hospital in Susquehanna Township, Dauphin County. It is not clear if this is Katie's husband.4,5

    The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 12 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Millersburg.
