Mrs. Annie L. Straub, age 67 years, of Lykens Township, wife of Harry S. Straub, died on Sunday in the Sunbury Hospital.
Mrs. Straub was a daughter of the late Jonathan and Myah (Klinger) Williard, and was born in Lykens Township, May 1, 1891. She had been a lifelong resident of that community and was a member of Klinger's Lutheran Church, Erdman.
Survivors are her husband, and one sister, Mrs. Claude Buffington, of Gratz.
Services were held from Klinger's Church, Erdman, at 2:00 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Richard Jones, pastor of the Lutheran Charge, officiated, and interment was made in the church cemetery.

Tamie Laudenslager, 92, passed away peacefully at her home in Gratz on July 9, 2010. Born March 25, 1918 in Lykens Twp, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Katie Straub.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Charles E. Laudenslager; two brothers Wilson and Leon Straub, and a sister, Minnie Brosius.
Tamie is survived by two sons, Terry G. Laudenslager and his wife Drinda of Gratz, PA; Robert L. Laudenslager and his wife Carol, of Elizabethville, PA; on daughter, Judy L., and her husband Randall Reed of Spring Glenn, PA. Five grandchildren, Kevin W. Laudenslager, Harrisburg, PA; Tonya, wife of Brian Troutman, Pillow, PA; Tiffany, wife of Eric Fite, Millersburg, PA; Pamela, wife of Robert Coffey, Basking Ridge, NJ; Scott, husband of Melina Reed, Clinton, NJ; and seven great-grandchildren. One sister, Vivian Bowman also surives.
Tamie was a home maker and faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting and reading, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family, with Rev. Jan Mills officiating.

Vivian E. Bowman, 92, of Klingerstown, passed away Wednesday, June 6th, peacefully, at Friendly Nursing Home, Pitman, PA.
Vivian was born in Erdman, PA on November 18, 1919, a daughter of the late Katie (Deibert) and Homer Straub.
She was a member of Calvary Independent Church Lykens. She worked as a Postal Clerk at U.S. Post Office in Klingerstwon. She was the widow of the late Kelvin "Casey" Bowman.
Vivian is survived by a son,Randy and wife Barbra Bowman, of Klingerstwon. Vivian is also survived by two grandchildren, TerrieLee Bowman, and TonieLee Bowman, by six great grandchildren, Joshua A.B. Zimmerman, Brent A.B. Zimmerman, Antony E. Romberger, Nathaniel E. Romberger, Nichole L. Nace, and Adrian E. Romberger, and by four great great grandchildren, Shayla R. Rusnac, Axten R. Zimmerman, Josiah A. Nace and Adalyn J. Nace. Vivian was preceded in death by a son Terry Bowman, three brothers, Mason, Leon, and Wilson Straub, and by two sisters, Minnie Brosious, and Tammie Laudenslager.
Viewing will be Saturday 10-11AM. at Zion Klingers Lutheran Church, Erdman. Funeral Service at Klingers Zion Lutheran Church, Erdman, PA, at 11AM on Saturday, June 9th. Interment at Klingers Church Cemetery Erdman.

Dorothy J. Kissinger, 89, of Duncannon, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. She was the wife of the late Kermit Kissinger.
Dorothy was born in Gratz on July 6, 1926, a daughter to the late Clarence G. and Cora A. (Jacobs) Straub.
She worked hard raising her family of 6 children and doting on her husband. She enjoyed cooking and baking, gardening, and camping with her husband and friends. She was an avid reader and read almost every James Patterson novel. Dorothy had a love of cats and was a mother to them as well.
Surviving her are her children, Dolores Clark (Roy), Richard Kissinger (Deborah), Dennis Kissinger (Mary), Bonita Kissinger (Jerome), Gregory Kissinger (Patricia), and Michelle Corsnitz (Bill, Jr.); 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Romberger (Carl); and nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Ronald C. L. Smith Funeral Home, Duncannon, is handling the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110; or to Kinkora Pythian Nursing Home "Auxiliary Fund", 25 Cove Rd., Duncannon, PA 17020.
